We arrived at the hotel was given our room and when we walked in it had not been cleaned we complained to reception, they had no cleaners to do it so we had to wait 45mins for other staff to do it.
The reception manager apologised and gave us a free drink but this is not what we expected from a well known company completely ruined our relaxing day.

Lovely place. Lovely grounds. Very clean pool. Sauna and steam room. Very friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a very comfortable and stress free night.

Visited for one night room was ok not like ones in the photos very old fashion while photos showed more modern rooms

Beautiful grounds! The entrance to the hotel is amazing. It’s in a fantastic setting, lovely to walk around the grounds aha explore. The room is slightly dated in comparison to other hotels, however the bed is comfy and you have a tv and hot drink facilities. Pool, jacuzzi and steam room were a nice touch.

A quiet hotel with comfortable room. Ideal if you just need to relax and rest. Breakfast was good and all the staff I had any contact with were helpfull and friendly

Saw this on my local tui site and as it was my husbands birthday booked. 2 nights B&B +and afternoon sparkling cream tea. We didn't eat in the hotel as quite expensive for food neither of us would eat. Pint of pale ale and a bottle of squeezed orange juice £10.50. Bitterly disappointed with the afternoon tea. Scones were crumbly rock cakes! had to send the coffee back as it was luke warm. Waiter said as its your birthday sir we will give you a glass of prosecco free (this was supposed to have been included in the afternoon tea anyway). Other people's afternoon tea was of far superior quality than ours and they got their prosecco given without asking. Management did refund the price of the afternoon tea, but was was supposed to be a joyful occasion was soured. Would recommend the hotel for sleeping at only.
