The River Front Resort

Well… I am currently staying here and writing this review … me and my daughter are here for a day … we are staying in the highest category room (109)and guess what !!! … just before sleeping I went in to have a bath which is what I usually do and the hand shower was not working … just a trickle if at all … the tiger shower jets also just passable … so I called the front desk and the night manager at front desk said he will send someone … someone came but couldn’t fix it .. then he said he will go up and check and even after 15 min there was no response … so I called the front desk and they had no clue … so I told them what had happened and the front desk manager said he will come and fix it .. he came but no solution found .. then he said we will shift to another room .. by this time it was 10:30 already … this issue has started at 9:30 … we said ok but please check if water is coming … he said ok and disappeared… ten minutes went by and no one is informing as to what is happening … called the front desk … someone picked up and he had no clue where the other person had gone … clearly this person was not bothering to update anyone … by this time it was 11 and we were at our wits end … so we went to front desk and asked the person there to locate the person who had gone to look for a room which has water in the shower … finally he turned up and said that we can shift to first floor and so we packed and went up (to room 209)… the bathroom pressure here was just a little better than the ground floor but by this time we were dead tired and just wanting to sleep … so either their pressure pump doesn’t work or there was no water in the tank ( which they also murmured )… either way it is poor management and this issue needs sorting !!! Any other hotel would have given a major discount in such a scenario, let’s see if it is given tomorrow. Apart from that , the room size is good in this category . It is clean . The day front desk staff was polite and nice when we checked in . The night one had started looking irritated as if the problem was our making !!!! All in all it is a good hotel but this water issue needs tackling . Plus staff needs to be trained in that if there is an issue , then they should have the courtesy to keep us informed as to what they are doing to sort the issue rather than we calling them up again and again and nobody getting back to us with any info … that is NOT DONE! Plus a suggestion is that filtered drinking water should be provided in jugs in rooms and only those guests who ask for these plastic mineral water bottles should be provided with these rather than the other way around .

It was a wonderful experience. Room was clean and outside the room views are awesome. Food is also good.

I visited chitrakoot with my friend. We spent 2 nights at this resort. It is about a kilometer from the bus stand and the place is lush green and peaceful. The rooms are clean spacious and have a nice balcony of the garden. The staff guided us well. Food is also good.

Although this is one of the best place to stay in chitrakoot, but few area need improvement. Eg. Food quality and linens

The stay at the hotel was superb. The staff is very polite and the service was outstanding. The room is quite well maintained and quite big as well. The stay experience was excellent.

Dear all if you want to work here please don't go because they management is very poor i will join here last month 27th of June as a front office manager Mr tiwari jii he is the GM of this property he will offer me for this job with in twenty days he will start blaming me so many issues regarding this i told him that want to live this property he behave me as like a murderer Firstly he locked me her compass for 24 house I will request him 100 time to live me then he send 4 hotel staff in my room for fight with me after that he can't provide me food last 24 hours i request him to live me he will live me yesterday around 7pm and just give my salary only 3000/- what ever he given i will take and run my house safely i request all of us please don't choose this hotel for job because her behaviour is very rudely with staffs there have no safety

Great stay nice bathroom, edible foods, quick service. Always prefer to stay here whenever i m in chitrakoot

The property is too good, neat and clean rooms, staff is well behaved, spacious, ample space for parking, well kept garden.

I have booked hotel and stayed from 5th July to 6th July. The room was good, and the food was good, but they have messed up the bill. Multiple charges were added to the bill, but they did not provide clarification. Until now, they have not given a proper bill with a breakdown. They have added extra amounts to the bill but did not give proper clarification. My suggestion is not to stay in this hotel due to extra charges without any clarification and less staff, causing delays in service. If you have extra money and can give extra money without any clarification, then you can stay. The hotel service was very poor due to less staff.
