Bella Vista Motel & Apartments Christchurch

All the amenities were functioning. The room size was good. The hot tub in the room was a nice touch and utilised by all. There were plenty of nice restaurants , convenience stores and attractions nearby. Parking was available and convenient. The staff members were attentive and helpful and gave us some great tips for sightseeing and shopping.

The Bella vista had everything you could want for a stay in Christchurch. Bed was comfortable and clean. Room serviced daily. Ironing board and iron, fan for hot nights, microwave and fully stocked kitchenette. Was just a little tired in decor but we had a very comfortable stay and really had not one thing to complain about.

We had a small studio suite but it was convenient. It was a Friday and Saturday night so the traffic was pretty noisy til about 1 am. Beds were comfortable, wifi good, very clean. Could walk to downtown area.

Last night in New Zealand 5th Bella Visa hotels, this one was a lot smaller than the other hotels, but it was clean & tidy and the Lady on Reception was very helpful and booked us a taxi, which we thought was very kind

The staff at Bella Vista were very friendly and helpful, the place was clean and in a good location just 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre. I'd definitely recommend it, it was nice and quiet too.

The Bella Vista is located on the fringe of the Christchurch CBD, which makes it easy to find and central to a lot of places. The CBD is an easy (and flat) 20 minute walk, plus there are shops and very good eating places in various directions, all within a 15 to 20 minute walk. The complex is immaculately presented and the hosts are attentive and friendly. We stayed in a Queen room. It's compact, but cleverly designed to make the most of the space. We appreciated the table and comfortable sitting chairs. All rooms at Bella Vista have a good little kitchenette. The bathroom was small, but worked well. Our only challenge was where to put two suitcases, as there was little floor space. The hotel is on a busy road and it is fairly noisy in the early evening and morning, but apart from the occasional sirens and hoons, it's not a problem. Our only complaint is the level of light in the room at night that disturbed our rest. The curtains were private, but were inadequate to block the strong external lights. The door was also semi-transparent and introduced a lot of light. This seems to be a common problem with motels these days, but could be simply solved with heavier drapes. We recommend the Bella Vista as a great place to stay in a beautiful city and would definitely stay there again.
