Bad attitude of services from receptionist with rude behaviour and responses.. the room is very dusty.. the wifi is not working and we tried to ask for extra pillow as the hotel only give 2 pillows for a king bed for 2 persons, but they refuse our simple request, it's my first time that hotel don't give us extra pillow if needed.hope the manager can give more lesson of hospitality to the staff.

Ok so I feel an obligation to write this review to warn anyone potentially thinking of staying here.. this is not to be nasty or petty but rather to say it how it is.. I booked here for three nights, yes it is super cheap, but that is typical for Java, it’s super affordable.. I arrived at my room and to my absolute horror, I will break down what I experienced without prejudice or exaggeration.. mouldy curtains, not a few specs, black mould visible all over, dirty bedding, the pale yellow kind, wall paper peeling off the walls, a lot, an old leather lounge that was so worn it was cracked and grossly faded.. then the bathroom, the grit was black, the toilet was yellowish brown, this is not an exaggeration.. I waited for the nice man to leave and called my partner and just broke down, it was horrendous and something I have never ever experienced in all my years of travelling.. I am train travelling around Java solo, I wanted to go budget, why not.. but after this experiment, yes I ran so fast, budget is out the door.. I contacted head office, they responded straight away, they wanted photos, I didn’t stay long enough for that, but I strongly suggested to them they send a representative over there asap.. please do not book, they want your money also before you get there.. interesting.. please don’t trust the photos online.. and honestly, I am not one to complain or leave bad reviews.. :/

Comfortable place not noisy, just the place I booked is too narrow and difficult to worship

So on this Eid Al-Fitr season, we went to my husband hometown in Tasikmalaya. And due to so many families coming around, we needed to book a hotel for us to stay for a couple of days. Since it was impossible for us to sleep in my in law’s house. So I started looking for a hotel last minute. And my in law said that they already booked their stay in Amaris so I thought that I’d like to book one in Amaris too. But unfortunately, only twin bed left in agoda and traveloka. So, I decided to call the hotel and ask for a room with double bed. When I said “call” I didn’t expect maximum hospitality since it’s only a 2 star hotel in a small city. But how surprised I was, that actually the staff in the reception area was so so kind. I mean really2 kind and friendly in answering my phone. And turned out they still had a room with double bed. And kept it for me while I was discussing it first with my husband of how many nights we would like to stay. And when I called them back, the other staff answered me and actually read a note which was left by the earlier staff about my reservation. And again, she answered me politely and so so kind. Again I was impressed! 🥺 Long story short, I booked the room for 3 nights during Eid Al-Fitr. By the time we get there, it was already night due to traffic because we’re from Bandung. So it was a late check in for us. But again unlike other hotel staff whom their friendliness decreasing when it’s already late, this hotel staff was so friendly and the check in process took only a minute. Since we were all tired, we wanted to sleep asap. And the staff seemed so attentive about it, and gave a smooth and fast check in and again, so so friendly. Really friendly if something really genuine you can tell from their faces. And the security was also super helpful and friendly. Though it was late. And offered us to bring our luggage to our room. Again, with friendly face and gesture 👏🏻 The room was spacious enough. Clean. No dust whatsoever. The amenities were enough for us three (my husband, my daughter, and I). And we got a room with city view. Which was also a plus. The hotel didn’t provide a phone at the room which I could totally understand reminding the star. But you can always order in room dining by messaging thru whatsapp number available. Or just simply order in the front office and they’ll gonna deliver the food to you. The price was reasonable for a hotel, so affordable. And the taste was great for a 2 star hotel 👍🏻 And the cleaning staff deserves a credit too. They were all so attentive (I mean all the staffs) so they knew that we were staying for 3 nights. And every morning around 8-9 am, they knocked our door (they didn’t have a bell) to ask what time we want our room cleaned. And they really cleaned it, super clean 👏🏻 So by the time we came back from my in law’s, our room was already clean and neat. The bed itself was quite comfy and spacious and they provided 4 pillows so wouldn’t be an issue if you’re travellin

Comfortable hotel to stay with family . Horison is still my first choice while looking for place to have a holiday in Tasikmalaya. Nice,helpful and friendly staff here and also for the security, roomboy and vallet service Also the pluspoint is the front office staff hey are all very nice to help us check in and check out (thank you) Worth to check also the breakfast menu, they serve the complete Indonesian food and also the traditional drinks like wedang jahe (myfave)

Where do I start, the pictures and reviews on booking sites are misleading, apart from the lobby the rest of the building should be condemned, seriously it’s literally falling apart, cracks in the walls. How can this Hotel possibly have a 3star Hotel rating? A ten dollar backpackers hostel is a better option. Ok $40 is cheap but I expect bed linen at least! The place is a health hazard, dirty sheets, no linen just a nasty smelly bed cover on stained sheet see pic (obviously I complained to have it replaced by another stained sheet and smelly cover). My room was a dirty empty shell half unpainted? No intercom/phone in room, no WiFi in room, no tea making facilities, no picture on TV, no proper bed linen,(wipe clean PVC pillows on bed ***) no nothing I’m shocked ! The building may be old and decrepit but there is no excuse for lack of hygiene, the bathroom is the stuff of nightmares. I could go on but I think you get the picture, do yourself a favour and give this place a wide birth. This place would give a dosshouse a bad name ! Why didn’t I just walk out, torrential rain and other nearby hotels were fully booked, I had already prepaid due to reasonably good reviews on booking.com ranked as 2nd most popular Hotel in Tasikmalaya......really! (thanks guys). I’ve never taken a picture of a Hotel room This time for the health and well-being of fellow travellers, I felt obliged to upload a few less distressing ones. You’ve been warned. My first time staying at this property, at Cordella Hotel Tasikmalaya from today 15 Sep until 18 Sep 2023. I am bringing a kid, 5 year old) with me which unfortunately he got sick this morning, and he has fever. This afternoon, around 3-4 pm I heard a continue dragged sounds of tables and chair above my room. Then I learnt that above my room is a function hall. Pretty sure the banquet staff dragged everything instead lifted those equipments. My son fell asleep since 7.00 pm because of his medicine, and awoken by a super loud friday night live music that started from 8pm and receptionist said that it will be until 11pm. And he also said that live music also happening in the street of Yudanegara beside in the rooftop. So if you are expecting a sound proof room for a solitude, don’t choose this hotel. If you’d like to join the night crowd and party all night long, this hotel is suitable for you. Actually I’m a kind of like this hotel because it’s quite new, great service from FO and HSKP, (have’t try the FB service and product yet) and everything works in order. TV can do the netflix and youtube (smart tv). I would give 5 stars for those things…but 1 star for soundproof room.
