De Vere Cotswold Water Park

We stayed here for 4 nights to explore the Cotswolds. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. On arrival we were upgraded to an apartment by the wonderfully friendly Maria, who made sure we were having a good stay throughout the time we were there. The food variety at breakfast was so good, the restaurant food was also great, I would recommend the Salad Nicoise. Our apartment was attended to every day, and the housekeeping staff were faultless. Although this is a dog friendly hotel, at no point was this apparent with any dog smells. Joanne, one of the waitresses at breakfast always welcomed everyone with her friendly smile and again, nothing was too much to ask of her. She is a real gem of the hotel. It was nice having the other choices on the site to eat and drink at too, The Hideout a particular favourite of ours. Would ber recommend to stay here, absolutely we would, and we would come back again with our dogs, the area around is so dog friendly with plenty of scenic walks, especially the big park in Cirencester. The pool area was clean and calming, as we were staying for a longer period, we were offered to use the pool without booking a spa session. This place is the gem of the Cotswolds Water Park to stay.
Wild Thyme & Honey

I booked this as a surprise for my husband for our wedding anniversary. We spent a couple of days relaxing in the Cotswolds & he had no idea about anything to do with the trip. I booked a full body massage at a hotel close by and then stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel in a Riverside suite overlooking the little stream. The room was stunning,Bath next to the bed & a gorgeous bathroom. We checked in & was shown to our room. We were informed about a little pantry where the chilled milk & other things were kept. The hotel is stunning & beautifully done. We ate dinner in the restaurant in the evening,do think portion sizes could be a little bigger for what you pay, but it's standard like other places I've eaten. I'm gluten & dairy free. There weren't many options, but I asked the waiter if I could have steak, which he kindly sorted out for me. Breakfast was lovely, poached eggs cooked perfectly! I would recommend this hotel to family & friends. Just wish it was located in Bourton on the water as there isn't much to do around the outside of this hotel.
Kings Head Hotel
4.3/557 Reviews
The location is very good, in the city centre. The hotel is very new and very design. The room is very spacious. The hotel should have been transformed from a historic building. If you park your car, the parking lot at the entrance of the hotel will stop at 6pm-8am, but you can only park for two hours at other times. I will arrive after six o'clock, go directly to the meter to pay, you can stop until 10 o'clock the next day. If it is going to take longer, the hotel will recommend stopping to a public parking lot a little further away.
The Swan Hotel
4.5/584 Reviews
My husband and I had our wedding at the Swan. The experience from start to finish was incredible. The team there (Molly in particular) were excellent. They put everything into making the day perfect. I am honestly so touched by them going the extra mile. The hotel is so beautiful and in such a pretty location. the small garden by the stream made the perfect setting for our ceremony and drinks. The main room for the meal was also lovely and we enjoyed using it for the evening disco. The food was excellent. Everyone commented on what an amazing place it had been. Thank you to the team for such an incredible experience and making the day so perfect. We will definitely be back to celebrate our special day.
The Fleece at Cirencester
4.3/544 Reviews
We stayed in a signature room, when I opened the door the room was so small that the door would only open half way as it was so close to the bed. You need to be slim to get in these rooms, and don't take a suit case or you will only be able to get it into the room turning it sideways. The rooms are fine nice decor but very dark due to the scaffold outside the window. The Hotel phoned me a week before arrival to say the courtyard was closed due to works going on but never mentioned the scaffold. Whilst we were at breakfast the workers on the scaffolds managed to open two of our windows and decided to sweep dust and rubbish around on the scaffold which started to come into the room. We also had to put up with disgusting foul language from the workers. We told the lady when we booked out, she said 'Oh deer, hope your next visit will be better` never again. These people are amateurs and should have never let those rooms with the noisy works going on. However Breakfast is good.
The Talbot Inn
4/512 Reviews
The town is quiet, the houses are beautiful, the vehicles are few, there are commercial streets and big supermarkets. The hotel has an independent courtyard, a private entrance to the room, ample parking space, complete facilities and cleanliness, sitting on a bench and watching the flower room 🦋🐝 flying. The restaurant is delicious in English and has a rich breakfast. The owner is enthusiastic and talkative: What is the weather like today? A cup of wine, a cup of tea, a wooden table and chairs outside the window...
