"Clean and neat. Close to the city center. If the were no road works, there should be a tram stop. But Basel is always under construction. Breakfast is full of options. Room was small but ok for the Swiss price range. Underground parking was very convenient since there are no other options around. Aircon was good enough."

"The Ibis Budget Basel is located about 800 meters from the station but close to tram lines 10 & 11. So it's a simple journey to the hotel. The staff were helpful, offering ideas, advising us on the Basel Card (free public transport and discounts on museum entry), providing us with an umbrella for the rain. The rooms are comfortable but no coffee or tea making facilities. There's not much to do immediately around the hotel but with tram access, you are only minutes from being in the heart of Basel."

"Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and is ideal location for connections locally and train station, plus Bus to the Airport. Hotel gives a free public transport tickets for the duration of the stay which is very handy."

"Basel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern. **Environment:** Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it. **Facilities:** There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers. **Cleanliness:** The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels. **Service:** Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services."

"The room assigned was on the fourth floor, meaning we had to take the elevator up one floor and then climb two more flights of stairs. It was a real hassle with luggage, though it wouldn't be an issue if you're traveling light. On the plus side, it's very close to the train station, and walking to the art galleries and museums isn't far either."

"I made a reservation through Trip.com for 1 night (2 days), but upon arrival the hotel informed me that it was booked as 2 nights (3 days), which would result in additional charges. Later, the hotel told me they would correct it to 1 night (2 days) and that no extra charges would be applied. They also took my card for deposit purposes but assured me that no payment would be made. However, on July 14th, I was charged twice: CHF 30 and CHF 46.8. Could you please clarify why these charges were made and arrange for a refund if they were charged in error?"

"I’m travelling with family of 8ppls and staying in this hotel for 2nights. Out of 4rooms, all 3 rooms with issue like smelly room (like dead body inside the room), only one lightbulb is working, door knob got issue, stuffy room.. too many issue that we don’t know where shud we start to complaint. Old hotel and need a lot improvement. Check in staff is friendly. Breakfast consider average. No photo because nothing to shot out with."
