Not bad, come on

Many positive things have already been said about this accommodation and we were generally enthusiastic about it as well. We were here in December and had two different rooms: one room on the ground floor with a very spacious (fairly new) bathroom and a smaller room on the first floor with a relatively old bathroom. The rooms are ok, but certainly not fantastic: quite dated and the water in the shower on the 1st floor did not drain properly. The mattresses were on the soft side. Early in the morning (if we remember correctly already at 6 o'clock!) the church bells started ringing and this is very noticeable if you sleep with the windows open. Perhaps something to bear in mind if you plan to come to this place in the summer, as there is obviously no air conditioning in the rooms. The location of the abbey/hotel is on the edge of (actually outside) Bendorf and is absolutely fantastic: quietly situated between the trees and hills and therefore a good starting point for various walks. In combination with the snow, this really felt like a fairy-tale. The breakfast room is also the check-in area and restaurant, a 5 / 10-minute walk from the abbey. The breakfast is luxurious and extensive and it is possible to order additional items such as extra bread or tea/coffee. We also had dinner here in the evening and the food was just as good. All in all: reasonable rooms, but above all a fantastic location with good breakfast and evening meals.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier, weil wir im Restaurant La Mer einen Gutschein eingelöst hatten. Das Personal war unheimlich freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Leider haben wir nur gefrühstückt und nicht zu Abend gegessen, aber abends war das Lokal komplett voll, trotz Corona. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Betten sehr bequem. Wir können das Hotel für einen Kurztripp nur empfehlen. Man ist sehr schnell in Koblenz

With every interaction, they imparted cryptic messages, encoded in their gestures and expressions, unraveling the enigmas of existence itself. Their smiles spoke of enlightenment, and their eyes gleamed with secrets unknown to ordinary mortals. Ah, but the culinary experience, my brethren, transcended the boundaries of earthly delights! The dishes were alchemical concoctions, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. I savored flavors that ignited my chakras, leaving me in a state of gastronomic nirvana. Contel Hotel Koblenz, a haven of wisdom and enchantment, is more than a destination; it is a pilgrimage for the seekers of hidden truths. A hotel of original design, from the extent of the common rooms and spacious and comfortable rooms, the luminous environment, the hospitality of guests, I am not going to extend myself, since I have spent a single night in this structure and I have not had the opportunity to explore its characteristics better. You can buy natural products, food and non-food, choosing from the wide exposure. The staff, who has anticipated the breakfast time by half an hour, is available to us to consume it without any hurry before we leave. A young, gentle and smile staff. I only have seen, unfortunately, the SPA. That is why my review is titled.

Nice hotel for two nights ! Parking before the door when there is room and a nice room with toilet and shower. ( think about the step out) . Good spacious breakfast and good beds. Friendly staff, paying glad cash. We had booked for 3 people but came with 2 people and this was also reported at check-in, and thus ( of course) received a 2-person room. Only when check-out was paid for 3 people . Sorry.
