10x hier gewesen. Das sagt alles aus! Romantisch an der Tauber gelegen, sticht dieses über 400 Jahre alte Fachwerkhaus heraus. Mit der Gastfreundlichkeit, der familiären Atmosphäre, mit den regionalen Speisen und Getränken. Immer für einen guten und tiefsinnigen Schnack zu haben, sind die Wirtsleute äußert freundlich, wohlwollend und heissen jeden Gast aufs Herzlichste willkommen! Eine absolute Rarität. Das Haus, die Wirtschaft und die Zimmer sind absolut sauber und rein. Herrlich urig. Wir kommen seit 2016 regelmäßig und manchmal mehrmals im Jahr aus dem Norden hier in den Süden. Und werden es weiterhin tun. Wanderwege, viel Grün und gute Ruhe runden einen Besuch aufs Beste ab.

Clean, safe and friendly inn that is very close to the medieval city, but a little less expensive than many of the hotels located inside the Rothenburg town walls. Also provides free and easy to access parking for guests onsite. The innkeepers are incredibly friendly hosts, full of positive energy. The inn itself is nicely decorated, but it's rather basic -- if you're looking for a special romantic inn, this may not be it. But if you want a nice, clean convenient place to stay, easy to reach the town by car or foot, this is a great choice.

The room was spacious and just fine for our needs. Requested a room with A/C and was not disappointed. The desk staff were accommodating and friendly. The main gentleman seating people for dinner could have been a lot more friendlier. He was rather abrupt and several people wanted to sit in front of the hotel to enjoy their meal. He simply pointed to the Bier Garden with no explanation. The hotel is kind of funky with rooms situated on different levels and what seemed to be across connecting buildings. Many people were looking for they rooms and Mom and I got turned around more than once. The lift only went to one floor so we walked down one flight to walk across the building To catch the lift, then around a corner and up some steps back to the other building. I thought it was fun and gave the place old world charm.

This century-old shop in Rothenburg is one of our favorite hotels throughout the journey. It is built next to the ancient city wall and you can see the beautiful view of the Tauber Valley from the window. We are an 80-year-old gentleman who has received us personally. We will greet us cordially every time we go in and out. The hotel has its own parking garage, but it needs to charge 10 euros a day.

We liked this hotel, from the friendly welcome to the enjoyable breakfast and clean rooms. We stayed in the chalet rooms which provided very spacious comfortable accommodation for our family, detached and private from the main hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful as you would expect for a quality establishment. We had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Liked the car park which was right next to our rooms.

Please note that Figure 1 and Figure 2 are the photos of the main entrance of the hotel. If you just look at the pictures on Trip.com, you will be fooled. The pictures of the two wooden tendons displayed on Trip.com are an exhibition hall, not a picture of the hotel! The location of this hotel is not very good, on the edge of the city, but the service is very good, it is an inn opened by two brothers, I don't know why the online rating is so high, to be honest, I am a little disappointed. The room given was in Room 6 on the 3rd floor. There was no air conditioning and it was so hot. There was a mini fan in the whole room or it was very noisy. It was the kind of fan we disliked in the 1970s and 1980s. The only highlight of this hotel is that there is a back garden, breakfast can be very cool in the garden, but swarms of bees will come and grab jam. Be sure to lock the room door when you sleep, otherwise it will be opened by others. Later, I went around in the back garden and found that room 4 was air-conditioned, but our room was not. The last Tumuji room is an exhibition hall, not their hotel! The pictures hanging on Trip.com by their hotel are suspected of misleading consumers. It is recommended that Trip.com delete the pictures on their homepage after inspection.
