Me and my cousin were at Aqua Silhouette between 11-16 August. We had an amazing experience even before our arrival. From contacts over emails prior to arrival, to making adjustments for our stay. From Reception, to restaurant (waiters, hosts, chefs), bar, pool bar, housekeeping and Entertainment staff. The hotel staff were ALL absolutely fantastic, very friendly, attentive and engaging. Safe place to stay and a security person by the entrance door to ensure our safety. We absolutely felt very welcoming. During meal times, staff always remembered us and recalled previous conversations with us. We always spoke only in Spanish to everyone to also get a better sensation of being full on living our best life in Spain and build better connection with all. At times, when we were unable to say something in Spanish, all staff would make us feel super comfortable and they would speak to us in Portuguese, English and French (our languages). I absolutely loved how much all staff Made us feel comfortable and welcoming. The hotel is extremely beautiful, very clean, amazing decor and great facilities. The reception an area has an amazing vibe. So chic and the air freshener is now so characteristic. Loved it. Felt lush. The bar has an expensive look and beautiful. The cocktails were banging at the bar and by the pool. Well done. The room were so spacious and clean. Good and comfortable bed. Air con. Reallyyyyy nice balcony. Great bathroom too. All toiletries available for us. Even nail file and all other bits to sort it out your clothing too. In the room, We only had to have the pillow covers changed and reception helped us straight away. Big shout out to the housekeeping lady (blond hair. Didn’t get her name but worked at night 11.08.24). She came to our room straight away and changed the covers. Very friendly. The entertainment staff (Nelly and a lady) made our holidays feel like wanting to extend our time at the Aqua Silhouete. Loved having Zumba every day, nice music and bingo sessions offered too. They also had us entertained on 14.08.24 with a party at the bar (next to reception). The party was lit. Live music and Brazilian capoeira. We danced, we sang, the artists were great. Full house on a rainy night. The same night there was a circus outside the hotel but we rather enjoy the party inside. Staff around the pool area were brilliant. We could change our towels to new towels. If you want to have a towel from the hotel, you request it at Reception for €10/ each. Fully Refundable once you return the towel. There was a lifeguard and also someone cleaning the table at the end of each day. The pool area was very clean and welcoming. Toilet area around pool were frequently cleaned throughout the day. The hotel has 3 pools. Plenty of space with sun beds. The bar by the pool is great, and you can get strawberry gummies and savoury nibbles to enjoy whilst sipping delicious cocktails sat by the pool. We were a little confused on arrival as we’d been informed that the hotel was located on the beach, but hey ho it wasn’t far too walk. We had 2 suites with 3 adults in each. The guy on reception was lovely , one of the best I’ve encountered,and I’ve stayed in many hotels worldwide. I wish I’d taken his name to give him a special mention but we never saw him again. The rooms are spacious but tired. I struggled stepping over the side of the bath into the shower as there is nothing to hold onto. The sink backed up in the kitchen after rinsing a cup but was quickly sorted by the maid. There are no cups or utensils in the room so even after hiring a kettle we had to go out and purchase cups to allow us to sit and have a coffee at night or morning when the restaurant/bar was closed. There are no views , all rooms look out onto other hotels so expect music / noise until the early hours. The hotel claims to be 4 star but it’s more like a 2. We stayed all inclusive, the food was dire. Cold and insipid, the best thing we ate during our entire stay was the onion soup if you put plenty of seasoning in. Breakfast looked like it had been cooked the night before then stuck under the hot plates to warm up. Thankfully you could make your own toast. The young girl who did the entertainment at night was wasted in the hotel. She had an amazing singing voice and was so full of fun. The young waiter/ glass collector was also lovely , we had such a laugh with these 2. The bar staff looked like they couldn’t be bothered to be there. Very limited choice at the bar, which they blamed on winding down for end of season which didn’t help the 6 of us. The barman in the restaurant should have been upstairs in the bar because he was fab. The pool is tiny with very few sun beds, there is a sun terrace but as you have to go all the way from floor 7 to 0 to get a drink ( pool bar only open mid season ) we decided to go to the beach everyday. You have to book your sun loungers at the hotel before heading off. It’s only a short walk but as a train line runs through the resort you need to be able to negotiate steps in the underpass. Not very good for anyone with limited mobility. There is a free bus ( but only mid season ). We had booked breakfast on the morning of our departure due to having a diabetic in our party. Our taxi driver called to say he would be collecting us earlier than planned, I nipped to reception to ask if it would be possible just to have one croissant in order that they could take their insulin. You’d think I’d asked for the world. The receptionist Maria tried to inform me that there would be no one in the kitchens even though the restaurant opened in 30 minutes. She was rude and abrupt stating we should have booked a takeaway breakfast. As we didn’t know the taxi driver would be altering the time why would we ? I even offered to nip downstairs and grab her one myself but she wasn’t having any of it. Eventually a breakfast bag was delivered to reception before

It was a good hotel, small and quite!Very good personal. The owner is speaking many languages and very careful with all his clients. Breakfast was tasty and with many options. Location is perfect, 5min to the beach, it's not in a tourist place, near some good restaurants and shops. Next time we will again stop there!

We stayed for 10 days with 2 adults, 2 children and my elderly mum. We requested a room on a lower floor which we were given and happy about this because there are only 2 lifts and they are really small. Room was basic but really clean, with clean towels every day, English channels on TV if that's what you want and even with 3 beds there was plenty of room. Balcony was a great size. The noise really does travel around the corridors and through the walls.....however this was mostly due to inconsiderate people! Food wasn't brilliant but we always found something and the dessert selection was great! Staff all really friendly and efficient and despite it being high season we didn't ever queue for long. Pool area is really clean and really relaxed although there is no lifeguard or staff of any kind except waiters bringing drinks etc. There is an extra sun terrace if you struggle for a bed by the pool, but no umbrellas around the pool unless you want to sit at a table.Location is good and has a much nicer feel than the busy neighbouring town of Santa Suzanna. There is a fantastic mini golf across the road which is really cheap and the man who runs it is lovely! Our main negatives were mini club....only 1 activity for an hour a day most days and no mini disco. The other was the massive parties of school children who kept arriving and were really noisy especially at night and on the days they came down to the pool they completely took over. They were right below us and we had to ask a few times at night for them to be quiet. Overall we were really happy with our stay and would stay again. If you come expecting a 3 star you will be pleased, if you come expecting more then you won't!!

Myself and partner booked this for 4 nights, we was abit apprehensive due to the reviews but we personally can not fault it. The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly and the food was faultless. The food choice was massive so there was plenty to choose from and it was regularly replenished. The drinks were lovely especially the punch cocktail. Entertainment was brilliant every night. The room was a decent size with a balcony overlooking the pool and loungers. The shower was lovely and the cleanliness was excellent, fresh towels daily, beds made and bins emptied. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing which was instantly sorted. Overall we can not fault the hotel and would definitely return.
