Location - Prime location in Fira and steps away from the main walkway. Although there is parking nearby, it's quite a far walk. If you do bring a car, find your location, call the hotel, and they have a vehicle that can pick you up. Otherwise book your transfer directly through the hotel for more convenience, and you won't need to lug you baggage around to get there. Room - Our room was large and spacious. We were booked in a Junior Suite Sharing Pool. Impeccably clean and well stocked. There was a rock inside, and if you needed your room cleaned, you set it out front and the cleaners would stop by. We didn't end up using the pool, however, the water was cold when we tested it. Breakfast - There was a lot to choose from, I loved that they had some authentic Greek items everyday to enjoy too! We never left hungry! Staff - the staff was so accommodating and friendly. They brought us a drink upon arrival, and checked us in quickly. The staff gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us our rooms, our luggage was delivered almost immediately. I don't recall if there was an elevator or not, but there are a lot of steps, which is expected in Santorini. I will definitely stay here again, and I recommend anyone reading this books here too!

The hotel is in a very good location, which is very important for tourists who take the bus to Fira. It is not only very convenient to go to and from the airport and the pier, but also very convenient to go to Oia and other attractions. The balcony volcano view room I stayed in, the sunset was really beautiful! The hotel service is also OK, but it is obviously not friendly enough to Chinese people. At breakfast, the waiter will ask the guests what coffee they want, and then immediately make the coffee they need and send it to the guests, but for the four of us Chinese, it seems to choose to ignore it. No waiter ever came to ask about our needs. We have to ask the waiter ourselves before we can make it for us. This is very bad. To put it lightly, the service is not in place, and to put it seriously, it means a bit of discrimination. I don’t know if the waiter has this intention subjectively, but it gives the guests a bad feeling. I hope it is not intentional. Although it is a bit unpleasant, it is still recommended to friends who are going to Santorini.

Wish we could give this place an 11/10! This place is amazing! If you are looking for the perfect place in Fira, this is it! Superior service, delicious food, beautiful views, and the rooms are everything you could want out of a Santorini suite. The sunset view is one of the best in Fira! It’s an ideal location in the middle of town, but still has privacy. The owner, Nektar, converted his family home into 3 suites, and then built a cafe/lounge/restaurant above, which is on the main walking street. The rooms are so spacious and beautifully built! the cave feel is so cozy and elegant. And Nektar stocks the rooms with everything you need, from water and wine to the most amazing bath products to even Dyson hair dryer and straighteners. The guy thinks of everything!!! The staff, from housekeeping to the bar / restaurant staff, is top notch! So helpful and friendly and always there to serve. Each morning, Nektar took the time to talk to us about our day’s plans and offered suggestions, which was so helpful! He is a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about his guests. Breakfast is made cooked to order and the best we had on our whole Greece trip (maybe best ever.) try the croissants - they are out of this world and come out still hot from the oven! Also if you stay here, we would recommend at least eating up at the lounge for one meal, because it is SO good. Nektar and his staff cook for you personally and it was the best dinner we had, both service and food! Overall, we can’t recommend this place enough! We loved everything about it, but Nektar truly is what made the experience!!

I have spent a wonderful night here! The location is perfect, which is just 4 mins walk from the bus station. The room is clean and the view is amazing. The host is also very kind and nice:) highly recommend!

This might be the best hotel in Santorini.... and here is why: 1. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... all I kept hearing about Santorini was finding the best place to watch the sunset. The reality was that I didn't need to go anywhere with a more perfect view of the sunset than my balcony at Enigma. Our room faced the Caldera (they all do) where we watched the sun go down each evening while drinking wine. Enigma is also located just steps from all the shops and restaurants Fira has to offer but once you come through the entrance way of the hotel, you go down a set of stairs away from the hustle and bustle of the other tourists. 2. The hotel is so peaceful and serene. From the decor to the vibe of the staff. You feel like you are in a spa. It's a boutique hotel so there are only 8 rooms. Everything is clean and simple. The showers are great and the beds are so comfortable. The bathroom products are high quality too. We received a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, there were snacks waiting for us sometimes when we came back from dinner, and there was a complimentary farewell drink on our last night. 3. The staff are incredibly attentive and customer focused - the service was unbeatable. They arranged taxis and transfers (prior to our arrival). They made restaurant reservations for us which, and I can't confirm this, seemed advantageous because when we arrived at the restaurants the hosts would comment 'oh you're from Enigma' and we always seemed to get great tables and other little 'treats'... coincidence? Maybe... Anyway, the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed at all times. 4. The food was delicious! Breakfast was brought to us each morning and they set it up on our balcony. You can't go wrong ordering - the omelet, the Greek yogurt with honey, the fresh fruit... delightful! 5. The hotel has a bar which is nice. It was never crowded, and it was another fabulous place to watch the sunset. I thought the hotel was great value and it made our stay in Santorini memorable. I was sad to leave. You will NOT regret staying at Enigma!
