"Hotel was very clean friendly staff went above and beyond location was quiet and unique, did you know they have palm trees in this prefecture? Yes they got palm trees. If you’re looking for a great place to stay away from the choas of Tokyo and cost effective then this place is it! When I do go back to Japan I will definitely be staying here as it was one of the best options I picked, oh and not to mention it’s close to the mitsui outlet mall which has great options to do any type of shopping! You won’t regret staying here and don’t read into the negative reviews because this place was very clean and up to par! 👏🏾"
"Pleasantly Spacious Rooms, Stunning Breakfast Views, but Bus Stop Location Needs Improvement
This hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms for the price point, which was a definite plus. While my room on a lower floor didn't have the sea view mentioned in some descriptions, I found it comfortable and well-sized.
A true highlight was the breakfast on the 21st floor. The panoramic views were absolutely beautiful and made for a delightful start to the day.
The sauna was adequate, though not particularly memorable.
The one significant drawback was the difficulty in locating the bus shuttle. The absence of a clearly marked location or a QR code made finding it quite frustrating. This is an area the hotel should definitely address to improve the guest experience."
"I highly recommend this hotel, particularly for families. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is ideal, with multiple kids friendly shopping malls and supermarkets nearby and the JR station just a one-minute walk away. The staff’s professional and attentive service was truly impressive."
"I booked the hotel for last minute for a 1 night event at Chiba. Unfortunately the cheapest option is the smoking room so I have to bear with it. The hotel is the old model. The hotel has wedding hall, some room functions for exhibition and meeting, the breakfast on the restaurant with additional fee. It using physical key, and the toilet is not as amazing modern toilet that Japan has, bit confused when I'm using it. All amenities provided, have kettle and only tea, would love if they provide coffee, sugar and milk, since standard hotel that I know would be provide a set of coffee and tea, but I didn't bother to ask, because I just stay a night."
"My 5-night stay at Hotel Francs was very positive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. The room size is standard for Japan, which was perfectly fine. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. The hotel's location is a major plus, being close to the train station and Mitsui Outlet, which has many restaurants and convenience stores. Getting here from the airport was also convenient via the limousine bus, which stops right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel."
"It’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff.
Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available.
Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point.
Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned.
I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time.
suggestions:
(1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues.
(2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while."
"From NRT go to CHIBA. Then take a train via Keisei to CHIBA CHUO. Uulitin ku, CHUO. Dalawa kc ung Daiwa Roynet. Itong Hotel na to tapat ng KEISEI Hotel. If Value for money, super YES. Service wise! Apaka ganda! This is a business hotel, kya full service cla. Di na aku nag avail ng breakfast kc nga, bawat sulok may kainan. Since this is 1.5 hours from tokyo. Laking tipid dito. Ung pamasahe from chiba to tokyo nsa 300-500 pesos lang. Para ka lang nag taxi. Di kna lugi. Got it for a special. Nsa 2k lang per night. Mas ok dito kesa capsule na para kang nasa loob ng crematorium. Ahaha 🤣 Sana after ng review na to di cla mag taas ng price. Ahaha"
"Although the hotel isn't in the city center, there are direct shuttle buses from both Haneda and Narita airports. It's just across the road from Kaihin-Makuhari Station, and right next to Mitsui Outlet Park, with plenty of dining options nearby, making it very convenient.
The rooms have been newly renovated and are quite spacious, with separate bathtubs and showers. The twin beds, however, cannot be pushed together. Our room on the 4th floor overlooked a small chapel in the inner courtyard, offering a beautiful environment.
The executive lounge on the first floor serves breakfast, which, while not particularly lavish, is all delicious. After 9 PM, you need to check in at the main building. The airport shuttle also stops at the main building's entrance. You can ask the front desk to store your luggage in the main building, so you don't have to go back for it.
Overall, the Ctrip voucher for just over 600 was incredibly good value for money. If it's available again, I would definitely stay here next time!"
"The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of Chiba Central Park, very close to the Yoshikawa Park monorail station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chiba-Chuo Station.
The room I had was only partially renovated, and the bathroom fixtures felt quite old-fashioned, though the bedding was decent. The room itself was pretty spacious, but not as large as stated on Trip.com; I'd estimate it to be around 20-22 square meters. It came with two single beds, two chairs, and a tea table.
Dining options nearby are plentiful, but if you're looking for shopping, I'd recommend SOGO and BIC CAMERA near Chiba-Chuo Station for a wider selection.
Breakfast is a buffet, costing 1980 JPY per person. It offers both Japanese and Western options, providing good value for money with a wide variety and tasty dishes. You can even try Chiba's local specialty, the Rakka Peanuts Monaka.
Nearby attractions include Chiba Port, Inohana Castle Ruins, and Kisarazu Outlet Park. Getting to Makuhari Messe is also quite convenient from here."
"The location was superb! It's the same building as Chibachuo station and surrounded by mini marts and restaurants. And it's 10 mins walk to Chiba Port Arena.
The staff were nice and willing to help. However, I booked for non-smoking room but still smelled cigarette smoke in my room. Especially in the night. I guess it came from the other room :("

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient for transportation. It is a 10-minute walk from the east exit of Chiba Station. It is very close to a small supermarket, which is very convenient for shopping and breakfast. The management is also very good. There is a large free dining area downstairs with a microwave, hot water and tableware for guests to use.
The room itself is very comfortable, with all the facilities that a single person should have, but it seems that the room booked by Ctrip is x04, which Japanese people don’t like, and there is a very obvious odor in the room on the 6th floor, probably from the carpet. In order to eliminate this smell, I have to open the window as much as possible and keep the air purifier on. In contrast, the room on the 5th floor where my friend lives does not have this problem. I hope the hotel can improve this problem on the 6th floor.
AAchaigeluosixuThis is a very traditional Japanese capsule hotel, similar to a Chinese bathhouse. The hot tub is very comfortable, the sauna is complete, and the massage chairs are also very good. There's even a desktop computer, printer, office chair, and book bar. It's very nice, except that my roommate snores. China should learn from Japan. I also maintain hygiene at all times, maintain the image of Chinese tourists, and respect Japanese customs.
Fflysheep73The hotel is old, but the maintenance is not bad. Come to Muzhang mese to participate in the exhibition. The hotel is close to Muzhang Benxiang Station, you need to take the bus to the seaside Muzhang Station. Breakfast needs to be paid extra, and overall the breakfast for two days is quite rich.
The front desk can ask for bath salts for the bath.
There is a fried pork chop curry shop out of the station that tastes good and the quantity is large. The convenience stores of the two hotels are nothing to eat.
AAnonymous UserBreakfast was better than I thought.
The receptionist was also good and good impression.
The air conditioning in the hallway was too effective to feel the temperature difference with the room
MM342041****The hotel is very good. The double bed room is big enough for two people to sleep. The room is large enough. The service is also very good. No problem even if you don't speak Japanese. Very user-friendly. Stayed for five days without any problems. The tissues are peach-flavored and very fragrant. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.
RRyokoConvenient near the station. There are restaurants around and it is substantial. Arrived late at night, but it was smooth with automatic check-in. Breakfast is free and you wake up slowly in the morning and eat breakfast and leave. Because the breakfast venue is small, it is crowded because it was a holiday, so it is good that the hotel side devises so that the guests do not overlap too much.
AAnonymous UserThe location is very good, one or two hundred meters away from the Inari Coast Station, just a few minutes away. There is a big supermarket next to it, and there are many small shops for eating. Life is still very convenient. The room hygiene is OK, but if you live continuously, you have to hang the cleaning sign before 11 o'clock, otherwise no one will clean it, and it will not work for a little more time. This is more depressing.
