"It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the JR station, which I personally found a bit far. However, the room rate was quite a good deal. I thought the service quality was excellent. Because I checked in early, my room wasn't ready yet, but when I came back later to check in, the front desk staff had already taken my luggage to the room. I considered that a definite plus!"

"To get to the lobby, you need to take the elevator from the 2nd floor (domestic departures) up to the 3rd floor. Check-in was convenient, and the room key doubles as your access card. Breakfast is included for all guests. If you want to use the open-air hot spring, you can exchange a ticket at the front desk. The room is on the smaller side, but you can fit one suitcase. It faces the airplane jet bridge, so you can watch planes take off; the noise is acceptable."

"What a lovely stay to sum up our travel in Hokkaido! We booked a night at this Hotel as our flight was first thing in the morning and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was perfect! The room has a lovely Japanese vibes to it. It is spacious, very clean, the bed was huge and the mattress so comfy. The window overlooks the runway. The personnels’ service was tip top! And the onsen was the icing to the cake. The room provided bath robes, yukatas and lovely pairs of japanese slippers. My girls utilised the gym too! The Airport is lively and has many stores selling all kinds of things including souvenirs and food! It’s just convenient! We just wished every hotel is like this one. Thumbs up Portom!"

"I had an early morning flight from Sapporo to Osaka the next day, and to avoid any weather-related transportation issues, I specifically booked an earlier flight and came to the airport area a day in advance. I chose the JR Inn, which was recommended by fellow travelers and is conveniently located right next to the Chitose JR Station exit. It was incredibly convenient, saving a lot of time and hassle. It's a well-established, no-frills Japanese hotel. Though small, it has everything you need and is quite clean. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; they contacted the bus company to retrieve a bag we'd left on the airport bus, helped us tie up loose ends, and gave us directions. I'm very grateful for their assistance. I highly recommend it for anyone with a late arrival or early departure flight. I also took the opportunity to explore Sapporo Airport during dinner time. There's a lot to see and do there, with many shops open until 8 PM, though they don't open until 9 AM the next day. So, arriving near the airport a day earlier and spending some time browsing was a great choice."

"This place is good for couples and people staying near chitose and price was cheaper as well. The amenities was good and they had free massage chair, onsen, kids play area, free coffee service and free shuttle bus service. Disadvantages: shuttle bus pick up from airport is available only in evening time which was bad since we arrived in morning and had to take public transportation to reach hotel, the staffs during checkin time at evening was not with good attitude but staffs in morning was much better, greeting with smiling face and talk much kindly to customers."

"The unit is clean and spacious, with facilities quite new and satisfying a family stay. The rooms are pretty the same as shown on the website. Though the location is a little remote, but it’s near a train station and quite easy to get a taxi using apps like GO. It’s sad that the nearby outlet is not open fully, with most of its shops closed. We had a wonderful stay and our family enjoyed our stay very much!"

"The hotel is dated. Once you know that be prepared for a very traditional Ryokan experience. You know that quite a number of tourists stop by here because Onsen etiquette is explained in English. In case you have not booked dinner upfront there is no option for food other than a little convenience store at the hotel‘s premises. Breakfast is buffet style and good."
