I booked 2 nights the day before in a hurry to participate in the event, but I am satisfied that it was the best choice after staying and seeing the location and appearance of other hotels around the station. I chose a room that I just renewed, so it was very comfortable, but I don't know if it's an old room.
This time, I used ”Toyoko Inn Hamamatsu Station North Exit” for my wife, sightseeing and gourmet excursions. It is a business hotel that can be used with peace of mind at any time with clean indoor cleaning and bed sheets. I always use Toyoko Inn to travel with my wife and touring with friends. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet style has replaced the mini lunch box method to prevent coronavirus droplet infection. It will be a meal in the lobby or accommodation room, but the taste is ok. I was impressed that the miso soup was delicious this time.

The building itself is old, but the room didn't feel old enough to worry about. The view was good in the room facing the lake. The buffet-style dinner was fulfilling, including roast beef and mini unadon. Breakfast was also buffet style, but I thought it was quite fulfilling here. The hot springs had an open-air bath facing the lake. Only one point was the room right under the restaurant, so I woke up early in the morning when I heard footsteps. I didn't mind at night.

I chose Marui-tei after seeing the word of mouth. The location is great in front of Lake Hamana. It was before check-in, but I was happy to keep my luggage. The building itself is old. The room was nice with raw flowers. It was a free drink as a welcome drink. There was tea in the room, but it was powdered tea in a bag, so I came to Shizuoka so I wish I had tea from tea leaves. The hot water in the bath is lukewarm. The dressing room is dark, but the bathroom overlooks Lake Hamana. However, bees were sinking in the indoor bath, and countless small insects were floating in the open-air bath, and when I was soaked, the insects were attached to my body and it was very uncomfortable. Therefore, I only entered the hot spring once ... I think the insects are in a good location, so it would have been nice to have an insect net. I left a lot of food, but it was usually delicious. The sashimi was fresh and the sesame tofu was excellent. The tightened licking tasted good and was bad, but it was even more delicious when I had roasted roasted tea. Breakfast was half buffet, and the staple food, miso soup and curry were free to refill. The side dishes were all suitable for rice and were rich in variety.

A great experience, great room with a view, panoramic view of the lakeside lake, and you can also see the Ferris wheel and cable car on the side. As soon as you get up to the check-in floor, you will be filled with tatami fragrance. If you can't go to the hot spring public pool to soak in the soup and you can make an appointment for a semi-open-air family style, all of them are top-notch enjoyment ~ hotel service staff are quite considerate and thoughtful. The dining experience is also very good, the space for the box is exclusive, the meals are all seafood and seasonal dishes in the local yuan, delicious and exquisite to the Tianling Gai ⋯ Have the opportunity to stay again!

Outstanding
GGuest UserI started visiting Okura hotel in Hamamatsu since March 2010 and this hotel and its wonderful staff has always been consistent in delivering exceptionally wonderful service. The hotel is located strategically next to Hamamatsu train station which makes it very convenient to get to. Act City Mall is located next to the hotel and it’s a convenient place to shop. There’s also many restaurants and bars which are located not more then 10 minutes walk from the hotel. If you get a view at one of the higher floors, you will get an awesome view of Hamamatsu city. There are many restaurants in the hotel as well as the complex where the hotel is located. The hotel is decorated with music themes and I like how the elevator has Chopin’s music notes on it. Exceptionally classy and beautiful hotel!
GGuest UserI loved the cleanliness of the place; it's incredibly spacious for a capsule hotel, which really impressed me. The shower area is clean and stocked with shampoo, soap, and conditioner. I received bread and coffee for breakfast. The only downside was that I wasn't aware there was no parking, so I had difficulty getting there and had to park in nearby paid lots. The location is excellent; there are convenience stores, a market, and the hotel is situated within a building that houses restaurants and cafes.
GgracefulflirtStayed on the Executive Floor. Very clean, comfortable, firm and wide double bed with somewhat hard pillows. The room was spacious with a nice desk and rolling chair, and another wooden chair with a back massage pillow. Wifi was stable. Pajamas were thick. Declined the daily cleaning, however housekeeping staff hooked a bag of fresh towels, pajama set, green tea and bottled water to the door each day. Safety box above a small fridge. Amenity station in the lobby with assorted bath salts and other supplies. Also, liked the blackout shades that converted to a gentle screen. Check out the daily Happy Hour from 5 - 8pm just before dusk to have a pretty view of Hamamatsu station as the sun goes down. Had a variety of drinks, alcohol and rice cracker snacks. Overall, a great, convenient location. The annoying thing was I kept hearing faint knocking sounds from the plumbing or vents throughout my week long stay. For light sleepers, this can be a deciding factor. Will try another hotel next time.
TTAKABOOOOOWe used it during Hamamatsu sightseeing. It was a subtle distance from the station 10 minutes, but it was a distance that would not be bitter for a solo trip to walk while enjoying the town and the food and drink town. It was a Sunday stay, so it was a very reasonable price, also a free drink and a lounge room with a wide 々, and a full Viking and service and satisfaction that doesn't seem to be free for breakfast, rice, etc. It is a high hotel. The interior of the hotel was renovated and the room was beautiful. I raised it early, so I left my luggage at the front desk, but the response was very good.
YYingyingThe hotel room was a lot smaller than I expected. It’s possibly because of the difference in photos online and the actual room in person. The stay was ok. I was only at the hotel for sleep or stopping by to drop something off. The location is extremely good since it’s right by the station. I would give full marks in that. If you’re not staying at the hotel for long, I recommend it.
555love1999We used it for two adults and one infant before summer vacation! We stayed in a cheap price of less than 10000 yen in the location of the station. The size of the room was perfect and the infant could run around. The facilities were clean and comfortable. At night, you can get a hotel special curry for free, and breakfast is free and buffet is very satisfying. There was curry in the morning, but it was delicious! It was a quality that I didn't think was free. However, the response of the young men and women at the check-in was not good, so ☆ was -1. I can't understand it because I'm bad at the tooth out of greeting and I'm not sure I'm sorry that I'm so good at other things. I would like to use it when staying in Hamamatsu, so I expect the front desk education to be thorough!
LLincoln WoodRented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly.
Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them.
GGuest UserThere's a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and it's not a long walk from the station. Although breakfast is free, it is quickly replenished.
It's clean, the bread is delicious, and the grilled mackerel has no bones and is fatty, making it easy to eat.
The room was old, and the air conditioning wasn't working well, so I was concerned about the smell in the room, but it was nice to be able to open the window and ventilate the room.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was good. The included breakfast was surprisingly awesome! we loved it. The only thing I would say is that the water in the shower is WAAAY too hot... I mean it's dangerously hot to the point you can actually burn yourself. I recommend starting with cold and then warming it up slowly to avoid injury, or hopefully the hotel can set a limit for the temperature that is more reasonable.
GGuest UserIt was convenient because you can go from Hamamatsu Station without crossing a big road. I used it for the live expedition this time, but it was very helpful to arrive at Hamamatsu station around noon and to leave my luggage before check-in and carry it to the room.
It's a short walk to the convenience store, so if you come from the station, you might want to finish shopping at the convenience store first.
The staff at the front desk were polite and very good at any time zone.
I felt that the air conditioner was difficult to adjust for me, and even if it was weakest in three stages, the temperature was a little high.
