Hamamatsu Hotels with Free Parking.

The place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean and plenty of space even after opening 2 luggages. The queen bed is huge and very comfortable. Toilet and shower is also very clean, but slightly cramp (usual jap style). Wet and dry area is separated. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The onsen was excellent, with a password for the female bath due to security reasons. Free wifi is very strong. Hotel is easy to find, and walking distance from the shinkansen (head towards the direction of the bus interchange). There is a convenience store on the opposite road. One of the staff speaks good english and assisted us promptly. There is a welcome drink and able to get additional pillows from the counter. Will stay again

Comfort Hotel has always been one of my top choices when I travel. It offers great value for money, delicious breakfast, and excellent service. It's also very close to the station, and the dumplings and eel rice nearby are absolutely delicious.

An exceptional hotel with superb value for money and an excellent stay experience! 👍 First off, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. The room was spacious, and I loved the dimly lit lounge area before entering both the indoor and outdoor hot springs. Plus, the hotel boasts a pool with lake views! 👍 The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and as a vegetarian, I found plenty of delicious options. The Vegetarian Lasagna was particularly good! To top it off, the hotel lobby on the ground floor even offered complimentary drinks and snacks for three hours during certain periods – what a pleasant surprise! More importantly, the hotel is located on the shores of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. It's a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. As someone who enjoys morning runs, the lakeside trail was perfect for jogging. It's really close to the station and very convenient. There's also a convenience store nearby. They offer one free drink during happy hour, and they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. They also have soft drinks. The amenity bar has some decent bath salts. There's a large public bath, which is small, but it was larger than it looked in the pictures. It was during the Obon period, but when I arrived at 7pm, there was no one there, so we had the place to ourselves. The room had a lovely combination of wallpaper and curtains. Breakfast was served in a bright venue with the morning sun streaming in, which was very pleasant. There was a wide variety of items to choose from. It's an exciting hotel with many rental items. The staff worked very hard.

Amenity is placed next to the front desk and you can take it to your room as needed. I feel like that's the best thing to do in this day and age. Breakfast is delicious no matter what you eat. Personally, I recommend the freshly baked bread. I had a well-balanced breakfast. There's a convenience store right in front of it, and it's about a 5-minute walk from Hamamatsu Station, so it's great to have a hotel right next to the station if you want to eat or drink.

In Japan, you can actually stay in a hotel that costs just over 100 RMB, and it's right next to the train station. It's no different from an ordinary Japanese-style express hotel. The room is small, but it has everything you need.

Rented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly. Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them.

We stayed with our family of four. The building is old, but the Japanese-style room was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was great. The breakfast buffet was okay. The porridge and whitebait were delicious. The Bentenjima pudding was rich.

Great stay for a solo traveler! I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and had complete amenities — everything I needed was provided. Although the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, there’s a convenience store right next door, which made it super easy to grab food and essentials anytime. What really impressed me was how quiet it was inside, even though it’s right by a city road. I barely heard any traffic noise, which made my stay even more relaxing. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in the city. I would definitely come back.

Everything was actually really good, but this hotel was so old it couldn’t feel comfortable or clean despite best efforts. Location was great - 2 min walk from Hamamatsu Station. Staff was kind and let us check in just slightly before 3pm. Amenities were super for what you pay. Free evening curry, 1 draft beer and decent breakfast spread. Big letdown was the room - peeling wallpaper, stained carpets, no aircon (only heater), mold in bathroom crevices of vent. I think housekeeping is probably good and the room is fundamentally well-cleaned, but the old infrastructure just makes everything feel dingy. I feel bad as I feel the hotel is trying its best, but despite the amenities mentioned, I will never stay at this hotel again.
