"The staff was very welcoming and spoke both Japanese and English.
You need to contact the hotel in advance for a pick-up from Kaga Station, but I hadn't received a confirmation from Ctrip when I left. So I called the hotel from the station and they arranged for a pick-up. It's a bit far, a 20-minute drive each way, but otherwise, everything was very satisfactory. The room was riverside, larger than your average Japanese hotel room, and had its own private bathroom. The onsen overlooked the mountains and forests, which was very comfortable! Dinner and breakfast were small but delicious, with the hand-painted menus, which were very elegant."

"It was my first time to experience a Japanese-style room. It was clean and tidy. The house was old but not old, which was great! The space was large and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel had two public hot springs. Although they were not big, they were quite comfortable. I went there during off-peak hours and it was just like a private hot spring."
"I am a self-driving tour (Jinyu Dongxunfang - London He Midway Hotel chooses parking) without thinking about transportation (the hotel has a special car to pick up and drop off from Kaga), the Wendian is very well maintained, it is a designated sightseeing hot spring franchise hotel in Japan, hot spring water is good, there is a public bath (is hot spring water), There are three private soups, which need to be paid at night (the appointment is free in the morning), I am very satisfied with the morning and evening, I have the largest room (there is a large hall), there is a reception welcome drink, there is any tea, there is a snow strip after bathing, there is a morning coffee, the focus is not expensive. When leaving, the reception staff will bow and wave goodbye. It is a traditional Japanese hotel and is the choice of Japanese tourist resort hotels."

"This Japanese-style hot spring hotel is fully equipped and the lobby is quite luxuriously decorated. We arrived early and enjoyed free afternoon tea and foot soup first. At three o'clock, a waiter in a kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very intimate. After the bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel at the time we had booked in advance. The dinner was a standard kaiseki dish and was very hearty. Each family had their own private dining space and was equipped with a dedicated full service. At 9 pm, the hotel arranged a local Taigu performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very special. The whole experience was very satisfying."
"(Transportation) There's a hotel shuttle bus from Kaga Onsen Station, which is quite convenient. It's located in the middle of the Tsurusenkei area, so if you arrive in the afternoon, you can walk the left side first and then the right side in the morning to avoid getting too tired.
(Facilities) The lobby is large and offers complimentary tea and drinks. There's also a free playground on the 6th floor with ping-pong tables, snooker, etc. The hot spring area on the 2nd floor also has free popsicles and very inexpensive washing machines.
(Food) Of all the hotels I've stayed at along the way, I found the breakfast to be the best value. I didn't eat dinner. I stayed at over a dozen hotels along the way, ranging from 3000 to 800 yen per night, and this was the only hotel with a buffet breakfast. There were three counters. There are freshly cooked items, such as Wo Sushi French toast and freshly squeezed juice.
(Room) The room is quite basic; you have to fold your own blankets. Unfortunately, the balcony is rather bare, so you can't enjoy the view.
(Service) Check-in and check-out are quite quick, and the staff are all smiles. I've included a picture of a sushi-making lady, but I've covered her face to protect her privacy, though her smile made my breakfast very enjoyable.
(Other) The yukatas (light cotton robes) here are quite nice. At least after staying here for ten days, I feel it's good value for money, so I'd definitely stay at this hotel again."
"Hygiene: The hotel room is very clean and well-equipped with air purifiers! But in fact, the environment near the hotel is very close to nature, and the air here is much fresher than in the city.
Location: The only drawback of this hotel may be its location. Since this hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it can only be reached by car, shuttle bus or taxi. I took a taxi from Kaga Onsen Station. The journey took about 12 minutes and the fare was about 3,200 yen. I think the price is reasonable because the attitude of taxi drivers here is much better than in Hong Kong. If you don’t think it is expensive, you can give it a try. In addition, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be reserved. You can inform the hotel staff in advance.
Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢). The employees in the store were very patient and attentive in asking customers about their situation and taking care of them. safety. Since there are many Japanese locals there, I am almost the only foreigner in the whole hotel, but the staff will try their best to translate for me. I am very grateful to them. 🫶🏼
Facilities: There are various activity rooms, but I have not seen them in detail. Most of them require reservation.
I hope this helps everyone who wants to go to Kaga Onsen. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽"
"Location is right by daishoji station. Room is rather small but also expected of a business hotel chain. The bed makes up for it, as it’s really comfy, ok for one to spend a night at."
"It was good because I was able to stay with two meals at an affordable price.
It was good because the meal was a style to take what I liked, so I could adjust the amount of food I eat.
I don't know much about the quality of the hot springs, but it was nice to have a wide 々 bathtub, and I could see the green outside and an open-air bath. There was also a sauna!
There were a lot of manga in the manga corner 〜
I was a little worried about the smell of the wind coming out of the air conditioner, probably because the room I stayed in was a room that was not used for a certain period of time, there was a place where dust was slightly piled up."

Amazing
MMaomaoxiaojintaiThe hot spring water quality is very good, all aspects of service are also better in most hot spring hotels, dinner is not bad, rice is better than other hot spring hotels, the restaurant is also separated separately, this price is still very fragrant
GGuest UserHotel service is very thoughtful, warm, dinner is very rich, breakfast is very rich, there is a shuttle bus, the room is very large and comfortable, the terrace view is open, and there is welcome drink in the lobby.
GGuest UserThe room was upgraded and it was spacious and relaxing. The hot spring was also comfortable and relaxing. It was great to listen to the drum performance at night. Of course, I was satisfied with dinner and breakfast. I want to go with my husband and wife next time.
DDushiDinner and breakfast were very luxurious and delicious.
However, regarding the faucet of the bath, there was a faucet with a broken temperature control, and the temperature could not be adjusted, and very hot water came out, which was difficult.
Jjun55It is a little far from Yamashiro Onsen Kosoyu in about 7 minutes on foot, but there was no inconvenience because there were supermarkets and convenience stores on the side.
Amenities are all in the room, front desk and public bath.
It's a hot spring inn, so I'm glad to have a yukata. ☺️
Wi-Fi in the building sometimes became slow, but it was available without problems.
Breakfast was 2200 yen, but it is not a Viking, so it is a little unsatisfactory and expensive impression 🤔
I thought it would have been better to eat at a cafe in the neighborhood.
The best thing this time was the public bath ♨️
1 order の の soup, 2 order の white の soup があり time で men and women enter れ substitute えです.
Especially when the outdoor hot water of the black hot water entered after the sunset, it was wonderful and wonderful 😆
Nowadays, there are few customers due to the rumor damage of the Noto earthquake, and it may not have been the same business as before, but I feel that it was a good stay because I was able to stay for about 11,000 yen including breakfast ✨
GGuest UserDuring our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan.
The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome.
SShupingThis is a century-old luxury hot spring hotel. The service was great and the rooms were beautiful. The meals are average, but it’s worth it to experience such a good hot spring hotel ~ It’s also very close to the attractions, and there is a shuttle bus to Kaga Onsen Station. It’s a perfect day.
