Find the Best Matsumoto Hotels

The appearance of a mountain lodge is impressive, and when I look at this appearance, I am deeply moved that I came to Kamikochi again this year. Naturally, it is different from the hotel in the city center, so there is a relaxing atmosphere in the Imperial Hotel, which makes the guests relax. From the veranda of the room, you can see the mountain 々 of Kamikochi, and you can spend a different way from the walk in Kamikochi. Breakfast is not strange, but you can have a classic American breakfast called the royal road of the Imperial Hotel. It's just about time that you can renovate around the water.

We wanted to treat ourselves for an anniversary so booked in for a night. It is not cheap - we paid SGD 770 for the night, but it was a good experience all the way from check in to check out. The price includes dinner, which was plated beautifully and featured items like lobster sashimi, beef stew and bracken tempura. Breakfast was done buffet style and had both Japanese and Weatern dishes. There are onsens as well. We opted to pay 3000 yen for a private couple onsen for 45 minutes, but there are also public baths on the 4th floor. The bath on the 3rd floor, just off reception, switches between males in the morning and the ladies in the evening. The room was largish and I loved that the yukatas came in a variety of sizes. There is no room clean up till check out, but they do lay futon beds in the room. The room was well appointed and had a great view, small fridge, a safe, and coffee and tea making facilities. There was even a coffee bean grinder. There were ample power points. Wifi was okay though it did drop now and then. There are separate toilet and shower rooms. There is a souvenir cum general store in the lobby where you can even buy condensed milk ice cream. Staff are friendly and efficient. They do have a free shuttle bus from 5 pm at the Matsumoto train station to the hotel, and one the following morning at 9 am and 10 am back to the station.

We stayed one night at this hotel as pat of a tour of Japan, mainly to visit Crow Castle, Japans oldest. The hotel was of a very good standard as were the rooms and the Japanese style breakfast was of a good quality, offering plenty of choices.. Would have liked to stay longer but we were moving on the fo,llowing day.

This was a stopover hotel for our tour of Japan. It's well-located, walking distance to the railway station. The hotel carpark is small and we ended up in a garage about a 7-minute walk away. (10-minute if you have luggage.) We ended up in the executive floor. The rooms were all right in size. The major plus is the 14th floor executive lounge. We were there on New Year Day but ALL the restaurants that looked decent said they would only allow us in with reservations. We had not expected that. Fortunately, we had a good fill at the lounge, went to MacDonald's (across the road from the Railway Station) for a burger and then returned to the Lounge to top up with drinks. Although it was near the closing time for the lounge, still the staff topped up the food. Breakfast was pretty good. But the dining area is somewhat small. So we had to wait 10 minutes. They do have a picnic arrangement, which was pretty charming. Staff were friendly, things worked. Yes, I would recommend this.

I use it at the hotel the night before going to Kamikochi, which I go out every year. I went by car this time as well, but the parking lot is a multi-storey car park, but there was no inconvenience in getting in and out. This time, the GOTO campaign was available, and I used the coupon, so I had less spending. I didn't want to use the restaurant for dinner in Corona, so I bought a lunch box at a convenience store using a GOTO paper coupon and went home. I went for a walk in the direction of Matsumoto Castle in the evening, but it was good that Matsumoto Castle was lit up. The room was as clean as any Toyoko Inn. It was good that the washroom was also clean. Breakfast was packed and put on the tray and went back to the room and ate slowly.

There are two super hotels around Matsumoto station, which is a hotel about 3 minutes walk north of Matsumoto station. The super front desk was usually a good response. No card key and enter the room with a password number. The room is simple and smooth, and the bed is low and wide. Amenities and attached facilities in the room are not a rich hotel with a famous name and nothing is rusty. Breakfast is free and the level is Toyoko in class but it was usually delicious. There was no foreigner in the hotel. There is no public bath here. There are various types of pillows, you can choose what fits, and the sleeping clothes were gowns. The network was free of charge and the wi-hi was available. All of the services and cost performance were high hotels.

My wife and I stayed at Tsuki for one night during our honeymoon. The 250-year-old building and rooms have original wooden beams. This is a very authentic, very comfortable ryokan. The staff speak enough English to make your stay very easy. Free fast Internet access is available in the lobby. If you are in Matasumoto, I would recommend you to come here. The sushi place across the street is also very good, run by a lovely old couple.
