We had an amazing stay for the fourth time. The place was great, the people were so nice and there were lots of things to do in the resort. We loved the restaurant especially the food it was delicious and affordable. It is a perfect place for us to relax with my family.

Solea is our second home. We would always make sure to come back and unwind in this resort mainly because of the ambiance and the warm people who are truly friendly and very helpful. My family and I have celebrated a lot of wpecial events and milestones in Solea since 2018, I celebrated my 36th birthday here and at that time I was preggy with my 4rth child. Now my 4rth child is 6 years old. We have celebrated a lot of special events here like my 40th birthday, my childrens’ bdays and even during the pandemic we had stayed here for a week to destress our anxies minds and keep our mental health.. truly i love this place and we keep coming back to Solea.

The multiple big pools were a highlight, offering ample space for relaxation and fun. Whether we wanted to unwind by the poolside or take a refreshing swim, there was always a perfect spot to do so. Moreover, the value for money was notable. Considering the high standards of cleanliness, the top-notch service, and the extensive amenities provided, we felt that our experience was worth every penny spent. It's rare to find a place that offers such a well-rounded experience without breaking the bank. In conclusion, our time at Solea Mactan was nothing short of incredible. I stayed in a 6-person room for a day with a family I became close with in the Philippines. Although the overall facilities are a bit old, I think it is a great resort considering the price. It is said that new double rooms were recently built near the main entrance, but I was unable to check their condition as I could not use them. The exterior looked neat. This resort is very popular with local residents. You can think of it as a resort with general Filipino services rather than targeting foreigners. You will need to be a little patient when checking in and out, and you will also need to be patient and wait for your food, so we recommend that you always order or move about 30 minutes in advance. Instead, the waiter will bring it directly to you in front of your room or wherever you want in the resort, and you can eat there. Some seats are right within 2 meters of the pool, so you can enjoy a beer and a meal while watching the kids. Day use is 80 pesos per person as of December 23. You can use the facilities until late in the evening at a fairly reasonable price, so we split the room into two groups: members who slept in a 6-person room and members who went home to work the next day. If I come next time, I'm thinking about having the whole family just use it for day use. It is also lenient on smokers. Of course, smoking is not allowed inside the pool, but the smoking area is flexible and spacious so as not to inconvenience other customers. However, there are no commercial areas outside the resort and it is a local residential area. Therefore, it would be safer and better to ask the tricycle driver if he can show you around for about 100 pesos, ride around, and get off when you arrive at a place that seems safe. The local neighborhood right in front of the resort is a little dark at night, but if you go just 300 to 400 meters to the side, you can see Cordoba City Hall, police station, fire station, large cathedral, and its own downtown Cordoba.

Hotel room is very nice the only thing is that they don't have cable TV or YouTube just local TV stations. The property has swimming pool and other activities that are available to guests. The staff is very friendly

the place its not that far from the city, very easy to locate, once youve get here you are always welcome,the staff prepare welcome drinks they are very accomdating and their conference its fully equip with sound system writing pens and paper are ready, very neat room accomdation

It was much better than expected. After booking I read a couple of reviews left here in trip advisor. I had wanted to cancel, but that was not an option. We decided to make the best of it since it was Mother's Day and my birthday. I lived through Odette. Had no MECO service for 3 months. I didn't see any signs of Odette damage. If it was there it wasn't glaring. The pools are well maintained. The beach was fine. The food isn't as bad as others have written though it is a little pricy if you're used to food prices in Cebu. The tourists mostly from Japan won't think the prices are high. I asked a Japanese couple why they had chosen this resort. They told me it was part of a tour package. Japanese love tour packages where everything is selected for them. I know. I lived there for 27 years. There is a cycle for their breakfasts. Ours was on a Monday so it was: Continental Filipino American. Funny thing.. corned beef is in the American breakfast. Oh sorry. No Canadian breakfasts. Haha. The rooms were fine. The ”air con” was strong and so was the hot water in the shower. No problem. OMG! There were a few ants. Hahaha. So what. It's the Philippines. They're everywhere. The staff was courteous and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The door latch in room 505 needs to be reversed. It comes right off when you open the door.
