Find the Best Koh Lipe Hotels

Great little hotel on the best stretch of beach in Koh Lipe. The rooms have a decent size, the bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade, but overall this didn't bother us at all. The staff is really attentive and helpful, after the first day they moved us to the room by the beach, when they noticed we are with kids. The breakfast is quite good, we loved the fresh fruit and pancakes in the morning. The staff really makes a difference . We very much look forward to coming back soon.

Stayed for 2 nights while we were in Langkawi. Came over on the ferry/speedboat. We stayed in a beachfront villa with great views of the beach and crystal clear waters. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We also organised a snorkelling trip with the hotel which left from the beach outside. The snorkelling was superb and thoroughly recommend. The hotel is kept clean with reusable water bottles, towels, flip/flops and beach bag. Great touch. Loved our stay here.

Breakfast choice is still more, the hotel is located in sunrise, we live in the breeze room in the middle of the second row has a small slit to see the beach, probably the breeze is the meaning, the hotel walks to the pedestrian street will pass the locals' accommodation area, garbage disposal is not Too bad in time. The room is a separate one, the privacy is OK, the bathroom is too big, the water is too small, and the bath needs to be washed for a long time. In general, it is still possible.

All the excellent reviews were spot on, Anna and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms were nice sized with a cool outside shower bathroom built onto the rear of each apartment. We noticed some reviews stating that the mosquitos can be a problem in the bathroom at dusk - tip get the mosquito incense candles from 7/11 and burn one before shower time done the trick for us :) Location was perfect with a great tip from staff to visit beaches and local bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The most cost-effective hotel on Koh Lipe, cheap, can also stay in a sea view room, suitable for long-term vacations, outside Pattaya, sunset beach is beautiful, the hotel is out of the sea view, the owner is very welcoming, breakfast is also buffet, TV and WIFI needs improvement.

The breakfast variety is a little bit, almost every day, the location of the hotel is ok, it is close to the pedestrian street, the hotel is okay, people are cleaned every day, the hotel facilities are old, old-fashioned Southeast Asian style, but the privacy is good, the hotel is in Sunrise beach, the beach is out, swimming and daze are good.

We stayed at The Reef for 15 days this February. It is a very simple hotel, located in a strategic position, very convenient for reaching both the beach and the walking street. The breakfast is really the thing that amazed us the most! The dishes to choose from were all excellent, the choice was vast, and all the Mojo guys are really nice, always polite and attentive to the customer. However, our experience was not entirely positive regarding the room and especially the cleanliness. Our room was on the ground floor, spacious but still dark and without a balcony or windows to open, only two panes of glass overlooking a forest that was practically a landfill, with plastic bags, broken tables thrown away and other rubbish . Even the bathroom wasn't the best, dark and a little neglected, but, in my opinion, everything fits on vacation, except for one thing: the lack of cleanliness! The ”make up the room” consisted in changing the towels (which were only one each, to be used for everything, from the shower to the face the following morning), bottles of water in the fridge (much appreciated) and placing the sheets on the bed . End. In the whole stay, the sheets were changed only once, after that, seeing that in 7 days we always had the same stained sheets, we left a note with the cleaning lady (and it was the first and last sheet change). Sand, dust and other dirt were always present on the floor, behind the bathroom door and in every corner of the room. The bathroom mat outside the shower, after days, now soaked and full of sand, was not changed, and even there we had to leave a note written, and once changed, it remained the same until the end of the holiday. We are not very demanding, we adapt to the various situations that arise, but honestly we were very disappointed by the poor cleaning and care of the room, especially having high expectations having read excellent reviews.

The lack of sufficient lighting outside at night posed a safety hazard, as my wife unfortunately tripped and hurt her ankle. However, it is worth noting that the resort staff responded swiftly and provided immediate assistance, ensuring she received the necessary care. While this incident was unfortunate, it did not overshadow the overall fantastic experience we had at Irene Resort. In conclusion, our vacation at Irene Resort in Koh Lipe was an extraordinary experience. The impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and the island's natural beauty left us with lasting memories. Stayed 4 days 3 nights. Dream beach and best view. The bay is the best and most beautiful from all 4 beaches on Lipe. The rooms are spacious and modern. Seems renovated a few months ago. Buffet is alright and reasonable for the price. House keeping seems understaffed or they do not know when you are out of the room. If you sleep in, in the morning you get a basket with water and refreshments placed at your door. But seems they do not comeback later in the day to clean. We didn’t get any house keeping. On third day, had to ask twice until house keeping cleaning came. But everyone at hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Be careful not to leave the door or balcony open in afternoon and evening. There are many mosquitos around the bungalows due to the plants and they will immediately come in. Mosquitos only around the bungalows, not at the restaurant, cafe, beach. Location and beach is sill the best. We will come back.
