apartment spacious,quite clean pool not very clean when people are going in fully clothed and still wearing flip flops whilst walking round childs pool area this obviously being probably being the turkish women which shouldnt be allowed and if so the pools should be cleaned every evening .very noisy road traffic 24hrs a day.the complex is quite a distance to beach and main shops,and we like walking but quite far from everything.meals in apartment not much choice at all and small portions for prices they charge.we never heard any british holiday makers whilst there mainly danish,turkish,russian.weve been too many resorts in turkey and can honestly say alanya being the worst we felt like we was in egypt not turkey,there was no turkish atmosphere at all a very boring place ..t here was a shop directly over the road probably only had fifty pounds worth of stock in it so mainly nothing. all in all we didnt enjoy our holiday and this never happens,so before you visit do homework on alanya.

I have just returned from a 10 day stay at villa sunflower hotel. We were in room 717. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Cleaners were all polite. The downside to that there are cats everywhere around the hotel including inside, around the tables when eating outside, the cats were using the inside plant pots as toilets. This was very off putting. Most of the staff were polite and helpful, especially the waiters around the pool area, very friendly and very good with the younger children. We were greeted on our first night by a polite man on reception who was very helpful, but then was met by a rude man who assisted us to our rooms, spoke to us very abrupt and rude at 3am in the morning after a long day traveling. This was discussed with management the following morning and issues were resolved. Very understanding. The food….. this was a big disappointed for us. A lot of the food did not have signs to inform you what dishes were. Due to this we ate out 8 of the nights we were there. This was mainly at night time. Very little choice if you are a fussy eater. If you are this is not the hotel for you. Breakfast there is very limited choice. There was a sandwich machine but not a toaster. No English tea available either. The pool area was clean and so were the pools. The sun beds are very uncomfortable and there were many ones around the pool that were broken. We booked all of our trips with the guy across the road fatty he was very good and really looked after us. All 3 trips we did were very good. On our first day we were instructed to go to reception to meet the rep who actually was a guy trying to sell us over priced trips. The boat trip he tried to sell to us for 40€ each when we booked the same trip across the road for 15€. I feel the hotel should put a stop to this, we seen many people get ripped off by them. This should not be allowed! Alanya is a beautiful place and the cleopatra beach is amazing. Overall our stay was good but due to the food I would not return to this hotel.

Great location, 5 or so minute walk to the beach. The staff are great. The pool is amazing, very clean. Would deffo come back. This holiday was much needed as a family member has been very sick the past couple if years. We all needed to de-stress. Thanks to all the staff at HMA.
