Very pleased with the service. I work east coast hours & the front desk attendant extended check-out so I could stay in the room until 1pm. Pool & spa are nice, but that’s about all there is to do onsite. Only one restaurant in walking distance. Location is a 10-20 minute walk to the beach which was great. Only downside, there were flip flops under my bed from a previous guest, dusty TV and remote & small stains on bedding. Pictures are definitely nicer than the rooms themselves. Overall, good for the price.

Different in that my room was over a business, as many of the other rooms are. Hardwood floor - an area rug would be very welcome - large room and bathroom. Complaints, an outlet closer to the bed would be handy, as I use my phone for my alarm clock. Also, a small note posted about how to operate the fire place would be good. TV didn't work so well, so be ready to watch Netflix on your laptop/phone. Good location downtown though, close to food, and good parking.

When I made the reservation, I read the reviews saying that the interior decoration is very dilapidated, and I was still very worried about stepping on thunder! But after arriving at the hotel, there is no dilapidated feeling at all, and the hotel facilities are well maintained! 3. Be sure to order a room with a brazier. Great scenery! The experience is also better! 4. The hotel is not suitable for families with babies. No entertainment for little ones. Moreover, the hotel is located in the golf course. When we were walking in the park, the ball landed not far from us. In case any golfer plays abnormally, accidents may happen.

Just on the side of Highway 1, I accidentally opened it. Next to the Royal Chef, I can treat my Chinese stomach. There are park trails and bay dams nearby. When I check in, I ask for quietness at the front desk and give the innermost Room to reduce traffic noise interference.

The Miramar Inn and Suites surprised us because it had some bad reviews on Yelp. However, we completely enjoyed our stay at this small independently owned motel. The room was comfortable and somewhat larger than comparably priced hotels in Bay Area. The king size bed was firm but provided excellent sleep. We did not spend much time in the room but it's always nice to have microwave and refrigerator as well as a decent flat screen TV. The bathroom area was spacious and water pressure was outstanding. The room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. The included continental breakfast was exactly what we needed for starting the day, and the coffee machine in the lobby cranked out excellent coffee drinks between 7-10 am.

Booked the Beach House for a solo getaway. Size of room was awesome - plenty of space for just me, and full kitchen was unexpected (two burners plus fridge/mw, and a bunch of dishes & utensils). No counter space (due to the burners), that was a drawback. Also they provide a keurig but my room had no cream or sugar and when I went to the front desk they gave me a cup of half and half! Don't they have little packets? Furniture was a bit worn but the bed was extremely comfortable and the comforter was fluffy & warm. Nice bathroom but again, not so luxurious as the description would have you believe. Booked a partial ocean view, but what I got was a parking lot view with a peek-a-boo of the bay if you stood at the slider and craned your neck. Tons of road noise too. This was disappointing, as I had been hoping to hear ocean waves. If you book this room type, specify the south side of the inn so you are not right by the restaurant next door. Continental breakfast was nice - good choices of pastries, yogurt & hot cereals. No wine reception on Sundays. While the front desk people were courteous & friendly, I felt I had to ask about every little thing. There was no amenity listing in the room or anywhere, so I had to ask: where is breakfast (it was in a meeting room one morning, the lobby another), where is the wine (it was sunday), is the pool heated, what is check-out time. Just felt a little like they assumed you'd know or wouldn't care, as opposed to other places that bend over backwards to be sure you know what they have to set them apart. It was a bit of a walk up to restaurants, which I didn't mind but just be aware. There's a very nice beach walk the other direction, but you're up on a bluff, not exactly on the sand. Next time, I'd go for the full oceanview.
