It was a great stay. The host made us very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. She even made us early morning coffee. I would highly recommend this stay.

Great location right near the square, lovely view and very clean! Very easy to find, check in and check out and comes with a braai. Perfect for 2 people.

The receptionist was not friendly, upon discovering that the room we had booked was not available he said there's nothing he can do and sent us away to some old house at the back of the facility. The door was not closing properly and the carpets were dirty. The location of unit 10 is not safe, its opposite a dark open field where one needs to get out the and open the gate manually, we were scared to drive out at night.

We stayed in a spacious apartment around the corner from the main property. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay and was spotlessly clean. We booked dinner at the restaurant and it was exceptional. The chef (Francois) is very talented and welcoming. Highly recommend if you can get a booking. The restaurant is separate from the guesthouse and booking for a meal is essential. It wasn’t a problem but in our unit (the Queen suite) the shower was in the bathtub. Just mentioning this for those oldies who might find this a bit of a problem.
