I had read a lot of negative reviews of the Luxor Hotel but our experience was not that bad, not at all. It is true that the room could have had a small refrigerator, which it did not have, and a piece of the skirting board in the bathroom was loose and falling off, which are negative details. However, the beds were very comfortable, the room was large enough, the water pressure was very good, the hotel pool was very good (the people were quieter than at the Excalibur), the air conditioning was good and the location was very good. The staff was always friendly giving you directions in the labyrinthine lobby full of "***********" and the views from the room corridors and the inclined elevators ("inclinators") are spectacular. The price for being the ***** is one of the lowest, especially outside the weekend, which is appreciated. Parking is $18 per day for those staying, which is not unreasonable for Las Vegas despite being a pain and the same room card is valid to go through the parking barriers as many times as you want. The Blue Man show is highly recommended if you haven't seen it!
