The accommodation was really comfortable and clean. The reception staff were also friendly. One thing to note is that there is no hair dryer!! You have to pay and borrow money at the reception. This was the most disappointing part. Breakfast was decent.

Super location with stores is close to the Jaude Square and 10 mn walk to the road station. The hotel is clean and staff is welcome. I recommend on Clermont Ferrand

Nous avons pris une chambre pour une soirée étape. L'emplacement est très proche du centre ville avec une station de tram à deux minutes. Le studio est très propre, confortable et bien équipé. la salle de bain est spacieuse et propre. La literie est de bonne qualité. On a apprécié le calme et le prix. C'est idéal pour se faire le petit déjeuner sur place ( 15€ par personne sinon)

The bad parts - the room finish is tired and bathrooms need updating. The good part is “everything else”. Perfect location, comfortable, clean & spacious room, good breakfast, great staff. They even have giant original cartoons and drawings on the walls by a very talented artist. Stop here and spend what you save (compared to Mercure etc) on a great meal nearby. Lots to choose from.

We usually stop in Clermont Ferrand halfway on the way to and from vacation. Pleasant hotel, friendly staff, very appreciable breakfasts (free for children). The rooms are a good size, comfortable bedding, well soundproofed rooms. Adapted nightly rates. Establishment ideally located, close to the station and the center (10 minutes on foot). The negative points and areas to improve: - cleanliness of the carpets, - lack of towels (room with 4 and 3 towels), - cups, - water pressure in the shower too low. I recommend this establishment.

On way there no problems, polite, helpful staff. NOT the case on way back Friday 26/8. Rude unhelpful staff, who wanted to charge one of us for drink, but with no price list. When asked apparently the price list is private and no receipt could be provided! Screams out that someone on the make. Also staff entered one of the rooms while we loading cars and hadn’t even checked out which is totally unacceptable. So unfortunately you missed out on 14 breakfast on Saturday 27/8 as we all went elsewhere. I know this is a budget hotel but don’t expect to be shouted at when we are paying customers. Would like to speak to someone about having some money refunded and some of your staff need to be trained in customer services and also conveniently don’t understand English which is not what is advertised! Very bad experience and definitely not happy.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel au prix de 62 euros sur booking. L’hôtel se situe dans une zone industrielle, près d’une voie rapide et dispose d’un parking privé gratuit. L’hôtel vient d’être rénové à l’extérieur, cependant ce n’est malheureusement pas le cas des chambres. Les chambres sont petites et la chambre est sale avec des toiles d’araignées et des taches sur les murs. La chambre dispose d’une climatisation mais vieille et bruyante. La chambre n’est pas insonorisée, on entend la circulation des voitures même avec la fenêtre fermée. La literie est correcte, c’est le seul point positif. La salle de bain est petite et comme la chambre, la propreté n’est pas au rendez vous. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel si vous passez par Clermont Ferrand.

For a few nights in Clermont I found this hotel that was just ”as once”: historic furniture, unmodernized rooms and reception as fifty years ago. The hotel is very clean and characteristic (for example, the bathroom doors were an antenna of a closet!) as well as the view from the room on the roofs of the city. If you look for the old France with a piece of romanticism and nostalgia, it's not a place you'll easily forget.
