Having been the year prior for breakfast with Santa and being impressed we booked again for this year and wow they pulled off another amazing visit beating last year’s event hands down. My boys both enjoyed making snow globes, and having their faces painted and was so excited to see Santa. The whole of the team worked really hard to make the morning magical for every family that attended. I would highly recommend and we will be back next year .

My son got married at Grimscote Manor and the experience provided to my son, his bride and all of the guests was wonderful, the staff couldn't do enough for all of us and they worked so hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. The surroundings were perfect for a winter wedding, the food, drink, hospitality was second to none. The ceremony, wedding breakfast, the evening reception were wonderful and everyone of the guests were looked after. The rooms were excellent too, comfortable and spacious. The wedding of my son and daughter in law was one of the happiest days of my life and much of this was down to everyone at Grimscote Manor. A huge thank you for the experience I would recommend as a wedding venue and would recommend for a hotel stay.

Customer Satisfaction fully met, this hotel has created the utmost customer experience, it has a true spirit of Christmas feel with lovely decorations which enhanced our stay. On arrival the young lady at the hotel reception made us feel really welcome, asking with interest about our journey and plans for the weekend. Food in the hotel is cooked fresh to order, and comes served to the table with staff who have attention to every detail. Value for money here is really good. Credit where its due team at Grimscote Manor Hotel, travelling from East Sussex - you made our trip to Birmingham relaxed and feel extra special..... Absolutely - very highly recommended.

For my Birthday Celebrations, my husband booked Bed and Breakfast at this fabulous Hotel- although It’s s local to us, it still felt like a real break. Lovely clean room and yummy breakfast The next day we were joined by family for a Birthday Meal-Gill expertly catered for a group of 9 adults and a toddler, plus accommodating a baby. It was so lovely- beautifully set out and decorated, food was wonderful, including Vegetarian and Vegan. The grounds are massive- they keep chickens and grow produce. Check out the Narrow Boat and canal, complete with lock - absolutely brilliant. You can see how it was developed on George Clarkes Amazing Spaces and tbh Steve should have his own show as his imagination, design and delivery are awesome - he is also really interesting to chat to. Highly Recommend this place, lovely surroundings and friendly staff Thankyou for making my Birthday so special

Booked the Grimscote for private dining for my 40th Birthday. The staff decorated the room to my chosen colour scheme, which looked beautiful. The setting is so interesting with plenty of beautiful features and decor. Staff were all attentive and polite and served all 13 of us promptly. We all chose a variety of options from the menu including vegan / vegetarian and every single person complimented the food. Everything was served perfectly and the taste matched the presentation. Hearty, home cooked food. The little cups and saucers and tea / coffee served was a lovely end to a perfect meal. Thankyou all so much for making it the perfect evening for my Birthday, would definitely return.

When we arrived, we were really impressed! Friendly staff that were keen to help, lovely setting, homely environment - nothing not to like! Due to an unfortunate incident we did not stay for breakfast so can't comment on this. I got an electric shock from the bedside lamp as I went to bed. It was really frightening - the rocker switch disintegrated leaving bare wires in my hand. As shocking was the hotel's attitude when I reported the incident. The staff seemed unconcerned. The hotel's maintenance person first accused me of slamming the lamp's rocker switch between the wall and the bedside table. I explained that I hadn't touched the bedside table. He then said 'these things happen' and blamed the lamp manufacturer. He stated that they had lots of these lamps throughout the hotel and had not had any problems. The owner did not take my details nor fill out the accident book - but did offer 10% discount on our dinner bill. At no time did anyone ask me how I was feeling, let alone offer to call a doctor. We left without having breakfast and I spent the whole day feeling in shock and on the verge of tears. I appreciate that this was probably a one-off situation however the management's poor response to the situation concerns me greatly. Had I been an elderly or frail person, e.g. with a pacemaker, the consequences could have been far worse. Of most concern was that the hotel did not accept any responsibility for what happened, which means that it could happen again. If you choose to visit this hotel, do be careful of the electrical appliances in the rooms.

I joined family and friends at my daughter’s baby shower yesterday afternoon, the event was perfect from start to finish. The setting was stunning, table was laid with amazing detail. Gillian, Georgina & all the staff made us so welcome serving Prosecco on arrival followed by an amazing afternoon tea. Delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches including a wide range of luxury desserts & cakes. A massive thank you to all the team for making the event so special.
