There was NOTHING TO LIKE. DIRTY, RUDE STAFF, HOUSEKEEPING SLAMMING DOORS AND YELLING AT EACH OTHER AT 7 AM. GENERAL MANAGER NEVER AVAILABLE.

I will say the beds were clean so that is a plus, but that bathroom had dirty rags and towels hanging from the shower when we checked in. The towels didn't look clean. Also the walls and floors were paper thin.
Then the staff in the morning were more focused on smoking outside then helping customers at the desk.

Over priced. Fridge didn’t work plugged in but no where near cold. Tv kept freezing. Couldn’t understand the employees. Like they need to be taught English. Website said breakfast was at 6:30 but didn’t start til 7. Elevator sounded like it was falling apart. Parking lot was tight and not enough room for two cars to pass each other.

Super convenient to the Gateway Convention center and close to several restaurants. Front desk staff were very kind. After you start going down the hallway it smelled odd. Once we got into our room it had the same smell as the hall. Assumed it was just cleaners. The ac filter caused the room to smell TERRIBLE, it smelled like the filter hadn’t been changed in a couple years. The bedding on both beds also had some very weird questionable spots on them.
It severed its purpose as a place to lay our heads.

The deodorizer is very strong in the lobby. We encountered another La Quinta that used a heavy deodorizer. I am allergic to fragrance. I can smell it in our room. I turned the air conditioning to help. This is a band aide. This is an overnight stay so we stayed. The last time we were able to open a window. Not this time.

Property needs repairs. There was something on ceiling looked like used toilet paper, walls are paper thin you could hear word for word conversations in the other room.

The hotel called me while at the competition because we had not checked in yet, asked me what time we would be at the hotel. I sound that to be rude. Our keys wouldn’t work. They had to replace the door handle by morning. There were ppl yelling at each other in the hallways. It was ridiculous. There’s were a handful of us that stayed there because it was a cheap hotel for the weekend for then comp. Never again.
