I’m so glad we had spare pillows & blankets in the car! All that was on the bed was basically two flat sheets. The pillows were barely there, and offered zero support. There was a light on the outside of the neighboring building that seemed like it was pointed directly at our window. We could hear each & every vehicle on I-70 from our room. There was an industrial size fan blowing in the hallway downstairs. So it was pretty much impossible to hear anything that was being said behind the plexiglass during check-in. Ultimately, not impressed. And exhausted.

Staff was rude, pool was closed with no warning before and wouldnt let us upgrade after we found out pool was shutdown

We thought we were reserving the double queen suite that had the jetted tub in the room but when we got to our room it was not. The room was decent just not what we wanted and thought we paid for.

This place is so tired; the reception staff were nice and that’s the best thing I can say. No drinking cups, no ice bucket, no washcloths; bathroom sink and countertop really damaged, no vent fan, smelly drains… I was tersely informed that coffee comes with breakfast and absolutely not before 0600. Should’ve moved on down the road.

Never again! Rude and unprofessional

As we entered the hotel to stay, the front desk staff were dressed very unprofessionally. The gentleman helping me had a "Beer Hunter" hat on with a stained, ill-iftting shirt and sweatpants. In my room the floors were less than clean with stains and sticky stuff left on them between the beds. The room and air conditioner smelled very musty. The toilet paper that was in my room was growing mold and the shower curtain were missing. The staff did replace both the paper and curtain promptly. The breakfast was less than fantastic with the only options being toast, cereal or waffles. The waffles had an off putting flavor to them. The pool area was clean, but the outside door was left open so that people could come and go without a key.

The only way to change the temperature in guest rooms is to call the front desk and have a staff member come to the room to change it for you. I have not encountered this regulation before in all my years of travel. Every other hotel/motel that I have stayed in allowed guests to set the room temperature. We were not told this at check-in and when my husband could not adjust the temperature when he woke up cold at 2:30am, he had to put his clothing on over his pjs and put on socks to get warm enough to fall back to sleep. There were no cups or glasses in the rooms and when I let the staff know at check-out, thinking it was a mistake, I was told that guests needed to get cups from the breakfast room. This would have been very helpful to know at check-in. The main option at breakfast was waffles. At the time we were having breakfast (6:30 am) there were 10 people in line and not enough time for us to all cook a waffle so we could get on the road for a very long day of travel The tables were all sticky with no staff checking for cleanliness as guests were leaving the table and nothing available for guests to clean their own tables. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable.
