Very nice stay when attending Merriweather Point Pavilion for a concert. They even offered shuttle service to/from the venue. Clean comfortable rooms.

I only gave it two stars because the cookies were on point. Check in was weird since I had already selected a room and then all of a sudden it wasn’t available. Fine. They put me in a different room and 5 mins in, I hear a loud clang coming from something in the wall (either the ac unit or pipes). Another clang 10 minutes later. Called the front desk and asked to move rooms because of the noise. They basically said no, and they will send maintenance instead. I leave to go out for the evening, on my return, stopped by the front desk to ask if it has been sorted, was told yes. Got back up to the room, clang, clang. This persisted the whole night. At this point, it’s too late to switch rooms. I checked out early because sleep was not possible. This was so poorly handled. Not what I’m used to when I choose Doubletree.

The bartenders were great, the property maintenance and customer service were great. The hot tub wasn’t working, and the one elevator was down, but overall it was a great experience.

Very nice hotel. The room was clean and well appointed. I rated our stay very good rather than excellent because there were only two elevators per floor (that I could find) and only one was working. (This is the 2nd Doubletree I have stayed in that had the same problem). There was a Soccer Tournament (teenagers) going on in the area so the hotel was busy with the elevator in great demand during all hours. Also, it was quite a hike from the elevator to our room for a 72 yr. old lady. (Next visit, I will ask for a room near the elevator).
