The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. This is a stunning newer property in a beautiful part of the city. We're big Bonvoy travelers and this is a top tier option, especially for the midwest. Awesome views of the river and bridges, great design & comfort and stylish rooms. We loved the rooftop bar - more views & fantastic craft cocktails. It's basically attached to the Exchange event center (via a really cute courtyard) which makes it perfect for events there. This was a work trip so we didn't do much additional exploring.

This one made me have the urge to say a few words, the purpose is to let everyone avoid pitfalls.
I feel that the hotel spends all the money on the lobby, I don’t even want to take pictures of the bathroom, it’s too small, please forgive us ordinary people who don’t understand the concept and purpose of the design.
We were given a room connected to the next door. We opened the door here and made sure the room next door was closed. It would be embarrassing if it happened!
The price of 18XX, but even a 500ml bottle of water has to be charged an additional $2. I don’t deserve it. Fortunately, I brought my own water and put it together for a photo to commemorate stepping on thunder!
But what is consoling is that the steakhouse Eddie Merlot's opposite is worth trying. The taste of steak and other meals is really amazing!

Front desk was really friendly and location is close to campus but that is about all I can say about our stay here. When we checked in for the game they didn't inform us that they would be running a shuttle to the game so by the time we saw them they were all booked up. We had friends to our room the first night for pizza and beer. The next morning I requested housecleaning for the room because we had pizza boxes and empty beer bottles and no clean towels. The response was sorry you aren't eligible for housekeeping until the next day! So I explained and they didn't care, their response was set the trash in the hallway and come down to the front desk for clean towels. For over $300 a night, I wasn't expecting to do my own room cleaning, trash removal and towel service! Yes, they jack the room rates up over double for game weekends (I think that's called gouging).

We used reward points for this stay and it was a great value. The hotel was easily accessible off the interstate and was close to a mall; and a Costco was located across the street. We asked for a two queen bed suite and the room was outstanding. We had lots of room, a couch, and two flat screen televisions. There were plenty of plugs for our electronic devices and a Keurig coffee maker in the room. I would give this hotel a 6 plus if allowed.

Although I already paid over Trip.com I was taken off the room again and when I told them e I had already paid it was told me this was cancelled but next day I received a message against my bank The room was charged to me so I had to pay the room 3 times. I wouldn't check in there anymore because it is connected with very many circumstances. From 9:00 a.m. it's going to be noisy because the staff when cleaning the room sound music hears something nervous I have to say.

How can I summarize the wonderful experience at this hotel?! Well to begin, the valet staff is a great team of people. I was helped by Taylor, who had a great personality and was such a warm welcome for the weekend. The front desk was swift, kind, and accommodating, and they provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities! The rooms were clean… but if I must be honest, the hotel could benefit from a little updating here and there. I know it’s an expensive ask, but in order to stand out in today’s world, that could be a huge plus! Other than that, everything was super!

I stayed at Holiday Inn for one night on June 27th and they made a hold on my credit card. However, the hold was never released and they actually charged my card. I have lost count how many times I have called the hotel to get it solved and get my money back for something they should not have charged me. Some of the times the front desk person was really rude and in several occasions they said that they would verify and call me back, which never happened. In the moments that I could talk to the manager (which was not easy since she is usually not there) she was actually nicer but did not solve the problem either. They keep saying that the amount is going to be refunded to my credit card, but I never got the refund. It has been more than a month since I stayed at Holiday Inn Columbus Downtown and I am still trying to get this refund. In summary, only stay at this hotel if you are willing to loose your deposit and spend time and patience trying to get it back without knowing when. So if you stay there, good luck.

AAmandaThe hotel is relatively close to the dormitory in the west of ous, within walking distance, there is a big supermarket next to it, and it is as convenient as a shopping mall. There are two buildings in the hotel, both of which are two-story houses surrounding the parking lot. They live on the first floor with a parked car at the door. Yinwq is not a hotel-like elevator building. It feels bad. I booked for two nights and only stayed for one. Late, wasted one night's room fee and went to another hotel.

GGuest UserGreat to see the improvements that Sonesta has made at this hotel. We have stayed here in the past and this was an improved experience for sure. Assistance at the front desk was good. When requested to make a change in my room it was facilitated without any problem. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. Quality of WIFI in the hotel is good. With 2 elevators you can get up and down quickly enough. It is nice to see that the inhouse bar / restaurant has remained. Good menu and options. The morning breakfast is Okish; not really worth the money at the moment. So definately room for improvement here. All together a good hotel to stay if you are in Columbus!

GGuest UserUsually when I write a review, I can find plenty of criticism. However, this experience leaves me with no complaints. The bathroom is spacious. The seating area has an extra TV so the youngest could watch his TV while we watched ours. The TVs are smart TVs so he streamed Youtube. The beds and pillows were comfortable . The breakfast was fabulous with multiple options including an oatmeal bar, cheese and egg omelets, DIY waffles, scones, muffins, sausage, or biscuits and gravy. We were there two days and noticed that they change things up on the menu daily. The breakfast area was super spacious and was a comfortable environment. Everything was up-to-date and well-decorated. I felt completely safe with the safety measures this hotel took and it was in an area that seemed quite safe as well. The pool was a bit small and is only four feet, but my children had fun swimming anyway. I definitely plan on staying here again next time we are in town.

BBobbi WhiteThe staff was polite (kinda broke the waffle batter dispenser and were nice about the whole thing) and super helpful when I needed something. I found it odd tho that if your TV is too loud that they just turn off the sound to the TV instead of saying something. So the rest of my stay i watched things off my phone and swam. I overall enjoyed my stay not sure if I would stay again bc of the TV thing tho😅

WweihuaThe hotel is close to the airport, and there is a free car to pick up and drop off the airport. Clean and tidy, and the room is quite big. There are many places to eat in the surrounding area, as well as gas stations, parking is free, it is recommended to stay

GGuest UserHandicap accessible room: A little disappointed: security latch was completely broken off; shower curtain was to short and water would splash out onto floor; shower floor around wall was old and brown looking from either age and/improper cleaning/ shower seat, when folded up was just dirty looking; overall, it is a little outdated and the room just didn’t feel or look clean.
Also, breakfast opens at 7:30 am! We needed to be on the road before breakfast is even an option! Not good for those who stay at this hotel for during the week and have time commitments! This was a big negative for us.

GGuest UserArrived to my room and realized I didn't get the room I booked 5 months ago. I went to the front desk and only then was I told they were overbooked and the I could not have the 2 double bed room and could only get a room with a pullout. They could have/should have told me that at check in. Tara told me there was nothing they could do. Finally she told me that since I used a corporate rate they could do nothing about the rate (which is NOT true), but she could give me points towards a future Marriott stay, so I had no choice and apparently them overbooking was my problem. So I agreed and she asked me if we needed anything. I told her that since we now have a pullout I would like an extra blanket for the pullout which she said she would have delivered to the room. We left the hotel shortly thereafter to go to the concert. When I arrived back at 11:45pm, I found that not only was the blanket never delivered, but there were NO sheets for the pullout. I called the front desk. He told me that he could get the sheets and blanket, but I would have to come get them, and not to come for 15 minutes. Really? So, I went down and waited for someone to show up at the front desk. Finally a saw the gentlemen I spoke to sitting in a chair in the back room at a desk on his phone. I asked him if anyone was getting sheets for me. He told me he was just about to do that. Really??? So he went to get them. After about 5 minutes he returned. No blanket. I asked him where the blanket was. He said ”right here”. I said no, that is a mattress protector, not a blanket. He said ”oh, come with me and I'll get you one”. So on the way to the housekeeping room he said ”I only saw some old brown blanket, do you want that?” Really??? So he handed me the old brown blanket that I'm pretty sure was made of sandpaper, and I returned to my room. So this is the service you get at Marriott? I was quickly reminded why I almost exclusively stay at Hilton properties. Additionally, the HVAC in the rooms barely works. I had it set at 67 all night and it never cooled off. This huge hotel was overbooked, and they have one person on staff for the entire place. What a disappointment.

Close to to bars, restaurants and on the edge of historic German Village with it's beautiful old homes and its quaint neighborhood. The only negative is it's not pet friendly, but otherwise I have had a comfortable long term stay. The convenient private parking and free internet are great for any type of stay or guest.

Rrander4484We booked this hotel online the pictures on the site that the hotel provided was not accurate at all. Was spending the weekend there for travel ball softball tournament. When we arrived we where iffy by just looking at area. We checked in arrived at our room the hotel was ran down looked like most people lived there. Trash piled up at cans, lose trash on ground. Walked into room and the smell of stale cigarettes and **** knocked you off your feet. Bathroom was dirty, holes in bedding, the microwave wasnt cleaned on inside or outside the refrigerator was dirty inside the microwave was missing the glass plate. Went straight back to front desk told them about the room and misleading photos they said would give our money back. When I checked my bank card I was refunded one night but then recharged my card. Called the lady she said give it 24-48 hours. After 48 hours nothing called in man I spoke with claimed to be management said 4-5 business days I called my bank explained to them the situation was told by them if money isnt back on in the 4-5 business days I need to file a dispute. Please save your self time and hassle and avoid this hotel at all cost. I included some of the photos I took.
