The hotel staff were so kind, and it was especially nice to be able to rent a bicycle at a low price. The pool and facilities were good for the price. In the reviews, there were people who said the room was a bit small, but I had a single double, so it was okay~! Overall, it's close to the airport, and the breakfast quality is so good that I think I'll visit again!

Hotel Negresco was a perfect destination for our 1 week couples holiday. We chose half-board for our trip, and were not let down by the food! The restaurant provided an excellent variety of options, including paella and other traditional/local foods, alongside more homely cuisine. A highlight of our stay here was the welcoming staff, especially Xisco, the host of the restaurant who made us feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location, the beach is only a few steps away as is the bus stop to travel into Palma, the aquarium, airport and local shopping. The bar and entertainment evenings seemed to catch the eye of passers-by and it definitely felt like the hotel to be in along the *****. The beach was gorgeous, and not too crowded, you can rent loungers from the council, the hotel does not have its own section of loungers and parasols. We didn't make much use of the pools, although the views from the roof terrace were amazing. The drinks were fairly priced, and for lunch we found a trip to the local supermarket worked perfectly between meals. The hotel was quiet at night and we weren't disturbed by any noise or music. The area is pleasant to walk around with lots of people walking up and down the beachfront giving it a safe and lively atmosphere. We would definitely come back here again, a beautiful hotel in a great location for a relaxing beach holiday!

Overall it is good

I stayed in the hotel for one night because it was very cheap at 51 euros for bed and breakfast. The location in the second row was ok, it was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The double room I used in the main building was very small, I wouldn't spend a longer stay here. The rooms on level 0 (one floor above reception at pool level) are very noisy: I was woken up at 7am by loud music as there is a bar on the same level. The breakfast was below average for a 4 star hotel. There was no raw cum or chocolate cream. There are only four German channels on television (RTL, Vox, RTL2, SuperRTL). Overall, the hotel is okay for the price, but there are better hotels on the playa.

Excellent hotel. They serve us cava for welcome drinks. also the view is so good. we can see the sunset in our room. The breakfast and dinner is also very delicious.

Was a good hotel came in and the room had hair in it and the sheets were unclean requested for a cleaner or a new room and had to wait the night and then was expecting to have a cleaner come in while I was out and still wasn’t cleaned and went down to reception 3 times just to get the room clean. Other than that nice place and good location

Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer zweiwöchiger Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt von der Promenade aus drei Minuten entfernt ein Stück die Straße hoch. Dadurch ist es auch in einer ruhigeren Lage. Der Pool ist groß und tief (1,90 m) und liegt schön inmitten einer gut gepflegten Bepflanzung. Fast immer war eine Liege frei, nur Sonnenschirme könnten ein paar mehr sein. An der Rezeption zeigte man sich freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, besonders die Herren. Gutes und vielfältigees Frühstück! Frisches geschnittenes Obst! Die großen Baguette war von guter Qualität. Dafür kann man sich das Abendessen komplett sparen! Fast immer das Gleiche. Sehr langweilig. Was um halb acht weg war, wurde oft nicht nachgelegt und durch eine Putenfleischscheibe in undefinierter Sauce ersetzt. Beim ”Showcooking” dreimal die Woche ein Hackfleischpattie. Alternativ trockener Fisch oder trockene Hähnchenspieße. Das Gemüse kam komplett ”aus der Tüte”. Fade und lieblos. Ich machte mir deshalb meist nur einen Salat und dazu etwas Melone oder habe außerhalb gegessen. Mein Einzelzimmer befand sich in einem der oberen Stockwerke, wie telefonisch vorab gewünscht. Es war winzig, aber renoviert und modern in türkis und weiß. Hübsch. Leider keinerlei Schubladen, weder am Nachttisch, noch im Kleiderschrank. All der Kleinkram liegt dann rum. Auch im Badezimmer sehr wenig Stellplatz. Das Hauptproblem des Zimmers war der Lärm morgens durch die täglichen Lieferwagen und auch Müllwagen. Jeden Morgen wurde ich pünktlich um 6:30 Uhr (sonntags auch mal später) durch ein lautes, durchdringendes Piepen geweckt, welches den Rückwärtsgang des LKWs unten begleitete. Ein unangenehmer und im Urlaub überflüssiger Wecker. Trotz geschlossener Balkontür. Das möchte ich nie wieder erleben. Der Knopf der Toilettenspülung ging leider kaputt und obwohl sich umgehend darum gekümmert wurde, hat es letztendlich 3 Tage gedauert bis der Schaden behoben wurde. Das war lästig. Alles in allem aber ein solides Hotel in hervorragender Lage
