Hotels near Sosu Museum, Comarca Sur

We’ve just returned from 10 nights at this lovely hotel. I emailed the hotel to arrange taxi transfer and they were very helpful (€75 each way). Taxi was waiting. Beautiful pool access room with comfy loungers on the patio. We were by the quiet pool as requested. Nice breakfasts, clean rooms and every member of staff was so pleasant. We had booked half board but most nights ate out in the lovely town (so many great restaurants) so we used the €17 allowance at the pool bar for lunch. We’ve been to this hotel many times and will definitely be back!

The service was excellent, both in reception and restaurant, but the services in the facility were a bit unfavorable in the sense that personally, as I was with my pregnant wife, I had a room on the lowest floor the first day, everything was fine because there is an elevator, but The rest of the days they had them out of service, which in a place like that I think can't go wrong. The gym was a bit poor and the only machine that it had did not work well, the impossible parking on the second day was that I was able to get one and pay it to the hotel, when you go to make a reservation you will see a buffet breakfast option for €4 that does not exist lol. The rest all good. I think that services such as the elevator should be guaranteed to keep them in optimal conditions. For the rest all good.

Stayed here for 4 nights, 22.10.24 - 26.10.24. I've stayed at these apartments a couple of times before about 10 years ago, both in Sun Suites and the Terrazamar section. This time, I booked a room in Terrezamar, which is the lower section and was allocated room 207. Rooms remain a good size and whilst the kitchen cupboards and bathroom unit are the original units the furniture, beds, dinning table are all new and modern, with AC and digital safe provided at no extra cost. All balconies are a great size with modern patio furniture including two full size sunloungers, which is good as you get the sun all day at these apartments due to location, so if you fancy a quiet day you can still chill in your own apartment and not miss a minute of sunshine. Housekeeping is provided every other day and the lady who looked after our room was great, she was very friendly and when we came back to our room to find it flooded as the boiler had burst she wasted no time in sorting everything out and got maintenance straight to the room who replaced the boiler. We would see her most mornings as she started work on level 2 and she would ask us if everything was still OK, so we'd tell her ”no piscina today” which got a thumbs up reply. I didn't get her name, but she is definitely an asset to the hotel. The pool bar is fine, with reasonable prices for food and drink. Our return flight was a late one, so we managed to keep our room on for €30. The hotel is in a good location with the commercial centre with all the bars and restaurants, literally a stones throw away, which could be seen and heard from our apartment. Noise didn't bother us as we were out late most nights anyway, but if you closed your patio door, you could not hear anything, and if you're staying on a higher level, it's unlikely you'll hear anything. As mentioned I've stayed here before and probably wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Puerto Rico again.

Good value hotel, very clean, decent location. Don't need much more than that. Can't understand why there are so many poor reviews. Usually I'd filter out any hotels with less than 4.5 TripAdvisor stars. However, this place surpassed my expectations and was significantly cheaper than others nearby, that ive also stayed in. Plenty of bed available during my stay at the pool. Pretty mixed spread of guests between British and Spanish. Steep hill to walk to the hotel, but so is anywhere in Peurto Rico. One issue - i had an early check out this morning and the reception was shut. So I couldn't get to main entrance for my bus. Had to go out the front and walk a few hundred yards up hill. An explanation of that would have been nice upon arrival. Also unable to check in to room until 3pm on arrival, which isn't ideal when you're dressed for the UK and been up since early morning.

Went here last year and it was honestly one of the best places we ever stayed in. We love Puerto Rico and to get an apartment of this quality for the prices they charge is just insane. Last year the peace and quiet was amazing and I think that the clients who visit this hotel understand the etiquette of it. This year however it was different. There were a lot of “chavs” abd I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way, it’s just that when you get a 4 star quality apartment for such a low price you’ll inevitably get people who really shouldn’t be staying there. They’d normally be in the bablu but the opportunity to stay in such a fantastic apartment for not much more you can understand it. People taking calls on loud speaker from the UK finding out aunty Norma has got crabs or calling home to see how little Johnny has just come off nappies at the age of 3 is all well and good but it seemed like it had to be taken on loud speaker not to me too the viz comic friends who decided to put their loud speaker on in the roof terrace when you can hear a pin drop up there.what we aloud noticed is that there are so many smokers there, literally everyone smoking and couching their guts up, it’s disgusting I guess it boils down to peoples lack of self awareness and respect for fellow holiday makers. It was just a bad week I guess but as far as the apartments go you can’t fault them and in all honesty the prices are too cheap. One criticism from last year is the pool/snack bar. Last year there was definitely a more of a hub for people to congregate, happy hour etc. this year it seemed cordoned off. No camaraderie at all, no focal point. It’s just my opinion. One last issue for us is that we get an early flight so we are at the hotel at 11am and totally understand that we can’t check in early but after prior warning it would be great to have the option to get in the room earlier rather than the standard 3pm check in. It doesn’t detract from the fact that we will be back again no doubt. The apartment are fantastic, possibly the best in Puerto Rico.

Both Rooms and grounds (inc neat AstroTurf that was very clean and slip free!) Table and chairs outside your door semi-private (some rooms surround the pool) Sunchairs around the pool (but still some 'towel savers' occurred-BAD!!) Big Warm proper swimming pool Big bedroom with mini fridge, Big clean bathroom with double walk in shower, very Hot and powerful water (rain and wand in the shower). Both rooms were modern, clean and fresh. White all round. Good comfortable (double) twin beds Very efficient air conditioning Big double wardrobe for hanging with hangers provided Kettle and Cups (some coffee pods upon arrival) Powerful Hairdryer Room was cleaned every day to a high standard (hang request tag on door) Grounds were cleaned every day ALL staff smiley and happy Reception staff said hello and acknowledged EVERY time, and were VERY helpful. Good, Quiet location Adults only resort so was quiet and peaceful why the minus -1 The safe is Three Euros PER DAY to hire (Expensive cost over two weeks -bad impression). The walk in shower needs a water lip, but the floor towel stops the trickle of water Sly News is the only British speaking TV channel (dozens of German!) Interconnect door (between adjoining apartments) whilst key locked it would be assuring to see a physical bolt lock on the door. Wifi was free and worked (eventually with help of the staff!) but was a very over complicated way to sign in ＞Sunbeds around the pool were' blocked' by the usual anti-social towel hogs - these SHOULD be removed by staff as there are not enough sunbeds on a sunny day. SUMMARY: The rooms and complex were on par with Four Star hotels we've stayed in Remove the silly little things (safe hire Fee, Retune the TV etc, stop sunbed blocking) and this would be a straight 100% tip; do not book with ******* as their fee does not include breakfast WOULD recommend to stay again :-)

Lovely holiday at delightful hotel Had fab room overlooking golf course with own sun loungers (408) Beautiful modern room with the biggest monsoon shower ever seen Breakfast fab served by the pool Lunch also available there. Great choice and price Dinner half board only thing that let it down. Served inthe Atlantico restaurant in a separate section at the back of this lovely restaurant and a very mediocre selection of uninspired dishes. Ate there a la carte on another evening and that was fab, totally different experience ! Rooms lovely and clean and chocolates left on pillow some days - nice touch. Shane water tea bags and coffee weren’t replenished once used Pool fantastic and spa lovely and staff friendly All in all would recommend !

We have just returned from this hotel and were really happy with our stay, Nice little complex with friendly staff, rooms have everything you need and it’s in a great location. There was plenty of loungers for sunbathing - my only criticism is the pool is not acclimatised and was absolutely freezing even when it was 26 degrees during the day. Cold to the point you were in and out if you dared brave it. Overall though nice stay and would return but maybe when it was hotter so could use pool.

Yesterday, I just arrived at the time and I couldn’t decide whether to book this for three days. I originally decided to bring the baby before leaving or to come by myself. Because it takes four hours to fly in Geneva, I am afraid that he will not be able to make it on the plane. [Like R] Thank you for upgrading my room and allowing me to have a small swimming pool with my own slap. This hotel has two large pools and a children's pool, the hotel is not very green and looks very clean. Three restaurants, buffet, Spanish restaurant and a Fusion restaurant. The buffet is not booked, the other two have to be booked in advance but it is also free. The back door of the hotel can be directly connected to the sea by brushing the room card, or you can go to the seaside. They are restaurants, bars and shops. You can imagine how lively it will be during the peak season. And this street is so long that you can walk 40 ➕ minutes while walking, eating and drinking all the way. The roadside is a five-star hotel. You can see the swimming pool and restaurant of other hotels. You are ready to change to a hotel next time. The facility and the room are very nice. The pool was freezing cold, the heated poll worked like that. The food & drinks need improvement. Sometimes less is more ;-) focusing more on quality would be recommended! We had a dispute about the booking and had to pay extra. However, we did nothing wrong and had to show our confirmation again and again. We found this very unpleasant. There were also difficulties returning the towels. We'll be surprised as to whether our €50 security fee will be charged to the credit card or not. Overall the stay was ok, but we wouldn't come back or recommend it to others.
