A truly exceptional experience! The historic Abbey is situated on a beautiful mountain side. Words cannot describe the spectacular hallways,courtyards, refractory dining room with frescoes on the walls, and splendor of the antiques adorning every room. The bedroom was massive by any standards, especially Sicilian, and the bathroom bigger than many hotel rooms we’ve had during our three week travels. Fabulous food and wine. Breakfast setting makes it easy to speak with other guests. Too cool to use the pool, but it looked wonderful as well set in an orchard. For flat road Canadians, the drive up was a bit windy, but well worth the effort!

Esperienza stupenda, un luogo di storia arte cultura spiritualità relax che ti mette in contatto con te stesso..Giulio Anna Guglielmo e la loro famiglia sono di una grande eleganza ormai persa oggi oltre a una generosità unica..Giulio (insieme ai suoi collaboratori in primis Annalisa, le due Giusy, Giulia e lo chef bravissimo e promettente) gestisce il relais in abbazia per farti stare bene e approvo appieno la scelta di non mettere la tv in camera che snaturerebbe il luogo. Professionalità, educazione, gentilezza, eleganza, umiltà, qualità nella cucina, scelta di collaboratori bravi e autentici fanno dell’abbazia Santa Maria del bosco un posto unico al mondo, un’esperienza da vivere almeno una volta nella vita.

In questa meravigliosa e antica Abbazia è in corso una iniziativa di accoglienza e di eccellenza gastronomica che merita le importanti difficoltà per raggiungerla grazie ad una rete viaria sicuramente non esaltante. L'abbazia è bellissima, dotata di arredi antichi e impreziosita da due chiostri eccezionali in cui vengono organizzati eventi e dove abbiamo cenato in un' atmosfera unica. Personale e patron gentili, sorridenti, disponibili ed attenti con un must dato da un ristorante ottimo per materie prime, vivacità nella costruzione del menù, sapienza e raffinatezza nell' esecuzione dei piatti. Valida e interessante la carta vini con grande attenzione ai prodotti della nostra Sicilia. Vi è anche un interessante solarium con spazio piscina, in corso di organizzazione rispetto al servizio bar ( comunque già assicurato) ed alla gestione.

Un site magique et envoutant. Service au top, on dine avec les propriétaire de l'abbaye qui sont d'une simplicité extrême, bonne cuisine. A ne pas louper quand on est dans la région Passer une semaine dans une abbaye du XIIIème siecle au milieu d'oeuvre du XVIIème reste une expérience unique

La abadía es un lugar muy especial. Dos claustros, muchas dependencias. El personal tremendamente amable. Una de ellas hablaba un perfecto español. La habitación muy grande, con vistas de la ventana al claustro y agua de cortesía. La cena exquisita, excepcional. Soy vegetariano y no tuvieron ningún problema en hacerme un menú apropiado. Totalmente recomendable.
