My husband and I booked a room at the Quality Inn on (1164)Dogwood Drive, Conyers GA for Friday, Oct 15, 2021, Room 139. We checked in late after a very long U-Haul drive from Roanoke VA. We were very tired and regretfully stayed in the room after taking pictures of the following. 1) Smoke Alarm broken - wires were there but no alarm 2) Tried to open a drawer, it was jammed & broken - what little it did open, found the rest of the fire alarm. 3) 1 lamp did not come on but USB charger worked while other lamp would turn on but USB charger did not work but a/c receptacal did. 4) There were holes in the bathroom door. 5) Holes in the bathroom wall 6) Entry door bottom seal/weather stripping damaged with large gap where mice and bugs can get in. 7) Framing around entry door damaged 8) Nasty/Gross bathroom exhaust vent 9) Nasty bathroom mirror. 10) Nasty crud/mold in bathroom corner 11) Did not get any sleep, bed was very uncomfortable & “felt” dirty. *woke up with a headache and I rarely get headaches When we turned our key in on the 16th, I mentioned the bad experience to the clerk. She seemed to care less. I told her we had taken pictures and were going to contact corporate. Her exact words were, “I’m sorry to hear that.” * Things we did not get a picture of : 1) Road sign advertised “Free Hot Breakfast”, but when checking in, a note was up saying, “ no breakfast due to COVID”. (this is understandable, but take the advertisement down & don’t mislead people.) 2) Dumpster near our room was piled with junk on the ground around it like a homeless person was living there.
