Gran Tacande Wellness & Relax, Costa Adeje

Great location if you wish to have a more quiet getaway on an otherwise busy Tenerife. Pool is excellent and a 2 min walk from 2 beaches.

We stayed at the end of June with my husband and daughter at the lovely Gran Tacande. We took a taxi from the airport which took about 15-20 minutes and it cost us 35 Euros approximately. We have stayed here quite a few times before but haven’t done so in a few years and it didn’t disappoint. This time we stayed in the Deluxe Seaview Room - it was spacious, clean and quiet. We went Half Board and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and evening meal. There was such a great variety of delicious food. The pool areas very immaculate. We came down at different times during the day and had no problem getting sun loungers. There are shops very near (a few minutes walk) - out the back gate of the hotel and also the front too. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - 5 stars - you won’t be disappointed!

Our family had an amazing stay at Gran Tacanda Hotel in Costa Adeje this July. Traveling with our children, aged 8 and 9, we found the hotel to be exceptionally accommodating and family-friendly. One of the highlights of our stay was the Mini Club. The activities were well-organized, engaging, and suitable for children of various ages. The instructors were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every child felt included and had fun. Our kids absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go back each day. Additionally, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga sessions offered by the hotel. The yoga instructors were excellent, providing classes that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. Their guidance and expertise made each session enjoyable, regardless of one's level of experience. The overall experience at Gran Tacanda was wonderful, with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a range of activities that kept the whole family entertained. We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and fun.

This hotel is amazing! I wanted a luxury hotel for my birthday and first couples holiday without our kids and couldn’t have been better. Room was to die for, spacious with everything you need even down to cotton buds. We stayed B&B and was lovely, so much to choose from even champagne for breakfast which was a nice touch. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, I especially liked the poolside bar service, press a button and they come to take your order, pay cash, card or charge to room. I would stay again and thinking to take the kids next time, but then again might keep this hotel to myself for me and my husband lol.

Leaving this beautiful hotel today to return home I honestly feel quite sad to be leaving right from arrival we were treated like royalty the staff & service is impeccable it seems like every staff member here is here because they want to be & take pride in their work this is one of if not they best hotels I’ve ever stayed in the service you get & the amazing staff really makes the place a joy to be at. Hotel itself is stunning nicely lit clean & comfortable we stayed in 459 the view just waw something I’m going to miss the most! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept if it’s so good I didn’t want to get up for breakfast. Speaking of food the food was fantastic lots of variety & good quality. The spa services were worth trying not the best massage/spa I’ve been too but still worth going the hotel has a large spa pool area. Outside of the spa the hotels main pools are well designed lots of space & different lay outs I like how they use salt water in the pools. However there are just a few things that have knocked the experience shy of 5 stars for me 1. Our air con kept cutting out & wouldn’t go back on so we had to keep our windows open so in the morning on a few occasions we’re woken up by maintenance taking place outside. 2. This one annoyed me the most it was hard to get 2 sun loungers together or close to the pool where despite there being signs all around the pool saying not to reserve sun loungers people done it anyway & literally just kept their towels there all day & went away so lots of sun loungers just sat vacant where some selfish person has gone off to lunch or to the beach leaving it so no one else can use it the hotel done absolutely nothing about it every day certain loungers we’re taken from 7 am till pool close & we didn’t get to use them. 3. The maids were lovely but some days the floor & only 1 of the 7 days we stayed was our jacuzzi cleaned.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff From the minute we arrived until we checked out , the staff were amazing . Extremely helpful , nothing was a problem. Ruth , in the dining area was fantastic . She helped me make sure my food was gluten free ( medical requirement) and she requested the chefs to cook my food separately. I had no ill effects the entire 10day holiday. I would thoroughly recommend the Gran Tacande .
