We found it extremely clean. Staff very hardworking and helpful. Food was fine a theme each day and meat and fish plenty to choose from. Pool was fab and a lovely beach not far away. All positives the only thing that let it down was the evening entertainment apart from one singer it was bingo quiz no prizes but charge 2 euros. That is my only negative.

Probably not to everyone's taste but we love it and have been three times. Location is not the best if you want to be in the middle of everything, only 10 minutes from airport so really cheap and quick to get to from airport, if you want to go into the heart of Caleta it's about a 5 euro Taxi or a 30 minute nice walk down the coastal path. we book this for a really relaxing break just me and my partner without the kids, we have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, rooms clean and had no complaints with the food and drink. To be honest it is not somewhere we would bring the kids as there isn't much for them here or in the immediate area and there is little to no entertainment at night, but it suits us for what we want and we love it.

Terrible food and rude staff. Under staffed and cold pool. Room was nice and location quiet. Location was quiet and not far from Fuste. This hotel could do a lot better if money was spent on it. I would give it 2 stars not 3. Don’t go all inclusive as the food is awful and the bars don’t have enough staff.

Globales Costa Tropical Hotel My partner and I stayed here for just over a week and we would not come back - we found the hotel did not live up to our expectations unfortunately. Room We booked the double room with a pool/terrace view and we found it to be nice and spacious. It unfortunately let itself down when discovering the sofa was soaking wet (when sitting down, where the back of our legs touched the sofa) which was a bit gross. We later on saw an unidentified brown substance coming from under the sofa when we had pushed it back - we still do not know what this was… lol! The bedroom had a nice amount of storage space for us but had an overall grimy feeling with lots of stains on the shelves and bedside tables. The bed was not the comfiest and is 2 single beds pushed together so beware of falling down the middle. The sheets are not very comfortable, with the main comforter being very scratchy feeling and combined with the heat don’t feel nice at all. The pillows are OK, not the best but preferences for pillows obviously vary a lot for each person. Food & Drink We booked the all inclusive so we had breakfast, lunch, evening meal, snacks & drinks all provided. We are not big drinkers anyway but the cocktail situation was quite poor and didn’t taste very nice so we primarily had Pepsi max’s all of the time (which was still really nice!). The drink situation was a little bit odd at snack times - the snacks (burgers, hot dogs, chips etc) are provided in the main restaurant area where there are soft drink dispensaries. We were not allowed to get drinks from this area during snack time and instead had to get them from the pool bar which seemed very inconvenient in my opinion. I understand the staff will not want you to take out the glass cups as this is a safety issue however they have plastic cups available right next to the drink station which could be used? This situation did not make much sense to me at all, as soon as you started walking over to the drink machines at snack time there was instantly a member of staff appearing out of nowhere telling you to stop and to get a drink from the pool bar. The food was not the greatest that we have had, I would say that the breakfast was the best meal at the hotel and I really enjoyed the sausages. I was having the scrambled eggs often but then they smelt very very off one morning and it put me off them for the rest of the holiday. Lunchtime & snacks were simple but still enjoyable. We did not actually have the lunch option very often and opted sticking to the snack bar, but the few times we had the lunch option I opted for the pasta and some grated cheese which was nice. Dinner was the least enjoyable of all, and I have read the hotel responses to reviews where they explain the menu is varied for international tastes, however I would actually say there was a severe lack of options and very samey samey every night. The hotel looks lovely clean and spacious. We stayed in M03 pool view. Beds nice comfortable, there is no air conditioning in room. I brought a rechargeable fan with me, so glad I did. The fridge is not cold. The shower is spacious however if you leave it late in the day there is no hot water left. Hair dryer in shower room. Safe is there but quite expensive really. There is only one mirror room that’s in the shower room. No shelf or storage for your toiletries Had to leave mine in my bag Gand store cupboard under TV ! Pool area very nice. Bring a pool towel these are not supplied. Two days there was no entertainment, there is only one man doing the entertainment program, he does his best, he gets all involved which is lovely and funny for the ones sitting on the side. The restaurant is not great. The food is warmed under a lamp. Only one hot food station. Salad bowl had hair in it. Lunch is better than dinner In variety. Clearing your own tables was strange at first happy to do it. Late check our room is €30 per person not per room. In my opinion low level 3 star. Nice holiday. Ok so please ignore the bad reviews This is a three star hotel. And I've just returned from second time there. The hotel is spotless bit dated but so clean Pool is lush cold saltwater brilliant especially in September when weuis amazing. Food has I think gone slightly downhill but I love love the salads and freshness of the food but not enough meat or fish this year. Restaurant is spotless live the staff and chef there so amazing at their job. It's a very very relaxing poolside no run for sunbeds I love the walk to caleta de fuste and back Brilliant in day but taxis cheap on a night The guests are mixed and lovely Not great night time entertainment especially the bingo being charged for it and not sure where the winnings went but hey ho was a laugh More bar staff needed drinks watered down But 5 euros for the best cocktails we've had We have had two lovely years here and i can honestly say the most loveliest time we both have had. I do love it here ❤️❤️

I’ve just stayed a week here, I go all inclusive all the time and I love it, this is a very small resort with very unfriendly staff . The only entertainment is karaoke at 9.30 and only one person serving at the bar so queues are very long which I’ve never seen before as for the pool bar u we’re lucky to even get served again by one person and only from the front so it’s not a pool bar really. Food was very repetitive. Also most of the accommodations didn’t have air con. Such a shame as the pool is lovely. I wouldn’t go back. There are much better resorts for the price

Just come back from a 7 night stay at Tropical and we were very sceptical reading all the reviews but so glad we didn’t take them into account, the staff were really helpful, we couldn’t fault a thing we went for a quiet peaceful holiday and that’s exactly what we had with great food and great drinks.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was ok, a little tired around the edges to be honest but considering the cost of the holiday was acceptable. The pool and pool area lovely. Could have been more parasols but lovely all the same. Food was ok, lovely in some cases. The restaurant wasn’t a relaxing space with the style of chairs (scraping across floor when sitting and standing) but was kept clean and the staff were very attentive. All in all we would return for another stay. Thank you Globales.
