Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport East

Everything was in good condition and clean. AC was working.

Had to stay here as EasyJet cancelled our flight we had to book something. Urgent

My flight back to Gatwick was so severely delayed that I booked in here very last-minute as I was too tired to drive home. I checked in at 1am and left the next morning. It was perfect. Very clean and comfy, and ample easy parking. I had my earplugs in so didn’t hear the planes. No breakfast on site, and no lifts, but that wasn’t an issue for me. The chaps on reception were really friendly and cheerful, even at 1am!

Nice location adjacent to a very nice restaurant / pub. The staff were very pleasant and helpful going out of their way to assist. We have used the location a number of times now and keep returning so it must be okay !. The rooms are a typical premier inn so you know what you are getting. The hotel does not have air con but fans are provided in hot weather. There is no breakfast facility at this hotel , but there are plenty nearby

We were staying to attend a funeral ,the hotel was of excellent location , extra good value , extremely comfortable beds ,and reception was very efficient ,would definitely like to go back when I have more time ,the restaurant next door looked fabulous ,we just did not have enough time .10 out of 10 for this hotel

I am a frequent user of Premier Inn and with a dawn flight from Gatwick this seemed an ideal, if pricey solution. I arrived at around 8.45pm and checked in easily, the friendly receptionist even chatting to me about how cold it was. On entering the room I realised that not only was the room really cold, but the window was open. I closed this immediately and adjusted heating controls. However it took a long time for the room to even begin to warm up and I needed to go to bed. The bed and mattress were excellent as usual but the pillows were really horrid, lumpy and not at all restful. Sadly I didn't sleep well. I know I should have said something on checking out but I was tired and rushing to get to Gatwick. Lesson learned, I would not use this hotel again.

Good staff and cleanliness. Hopeless wifi only 1mbps forget work orr anything wifi related in room. Hotel badly in need of refurbishment. No breakfast available.

Booked this hotel as we were attending a funeral at the nearby crematorium. We booked at short notice and was happy with the price we paid. We arrived early and no one was at reception to speak to, after pressing the call bell, a lady came along and told us it was £10 extra, so declined and said we would return later on. We had to ask about the parking and she told us how to register for an overnight stay. Room was ok, but as in previous reviews, it was very hot, but the actual room was fine. Ok price for what we paid last minute.

The hotel and rooms were what you'd expect for Premier Inn i.e. good in our opinion. A big problem for us was there was no option at the hotel or pub next door for breakfast, and nothing else close by. Also, related and unrelated, public transport links to/from this hotel are poor.
