It's the best!
The location is especially great.
You have to climb a long flight of stairs, but the view from the top is amazing.
Breakfast is included. It was a great time looking out over Cusco city while eating breakfast.
It's also very easy to access the center of Cusco.
The staff are friendly and the service is great!
Another plus is that there are cute cats.

Tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa no hostel. A equipe é extremamente atenciosa e educada. O café da manhã, embora simples, é delicioso. Ficamos em um quarto de casal que estava impecavelmente limpo, com um aroma muito agradável e era super confortável. A localização do hostel é excelente, próximo a vários pontos turísticos, como: - Calle 7 Borreguitos - Sacsayhuaman - Coricancha - Plaza Regocijo - Aqueduto de Sapantiana (Sapantiana Aqueduct) - Plaza de Armas - Plaza San Blas Além disso, nas proximidades do hostel, há diversas lavanderias, mercados, farmácias e restaurantes. Durante nossos passeios, os guias encontraram o hostel com facilidade, o que facilitou bastante a logística. Um grande diferencial foi o serviço de traslado: eles providenciaram um táxi para nos buscar no aeroporto e cobriram o custo, o que foi um grande alívio para nós, que estávamos nos adaptando à cidade. Quando chegou a hora de partir, eles também fizeram a reserva do táxi de retorno, sendo que desta vez, pagamos pelo serviço.

I stayed 10 days in SWYH and enjoyed my stay. I had booked a private room and I was surprised how good it was (Room Nr.9 on the upper floor), From here I had a great panoramic view of Cusco even while lying on my bed :-). But of course the view from the hostel is over all excellent. The staff is very attentive and customer driven - from the reception Desk to the kitchen. Thanks to all. Breakfast is ok. I didn´t use the kitchen utilities. I didn't use the kitchen utensils, but I noticed that people prepared some really nice dishes. The private rooms on the 2nd floor are also preferable because of the view and they are more quiet.

Llegar a San Blas, es como llegar a tu hogar; puedes caminar por todo el barrio, sin ningún temor, recorrer cada caminito, restaurante, bar, mercado, iglesia, pizzería, en fin. Dentro de esta enorme casa; entrar a Samay Wasi es como llegar a tu habitación, a tu lugar seguro. Donde todos te reciben como si ya te extrañaran. Un desayuno contundente, servido con mucho amor, que te alimenta hasta el alma. Las tertulias con los demás turistas que te inspiran a seguir viajando, seguir conociendo. Don't stop de music. Apenas unos minutos en el balcón, con la maravillosa vista de toda la ciudad del Cusco, es más que suficiente para reiniciarte y empezar con fuerza todos tus proyectos. La energía del Eterno Cusco y lo maravilloso de estar ahí para disfrutarlo. Tupananchiskama Qosqo.

This hostel is very cozy and accommodating with wonderful view of the city. This hostel is very quiet as well with clean common areas that have guitars and games. It is so cool to eat breakfast and have an amazing view of the city. Also the views from the common terrace at night are also great.

hotel in cima ad una salita con scalini vari quindi scomodo per chi ha valige pesanti...per raggiungere la camera altre scale ripide...camera spaziosa un po datata ma vista molto bella. colazione super basica purtroppo odore sgradevole in camera

Great location in the old part of Cusco. Beautiful view and helpful staff. James from Peru Inca Adventures was very helpful arranging day trips and our tour to Lake Titacaca.
