The location was good, not far from the station.
It looked a bit old from the outside, but the room was quite clean.
I think it's a bit expensive compared to the pricey facilities.

The house given was average, without any scenery to speak of. When checking in, the front desk was a little cold. In fact, there are many kinds of breakfast. The special feature is that the door-to-door food delivery service uses robots and can take the elevator by itself. There is a Doraemon photo spot in this hotel. It seems that Daegu is organizing an event to collect Doraemon photo spots, and there are many scenic spots. Directly across the main road from the hotel is Daegu's largest shopping mall, and the train station is also there. The underground parking space is relatively tight, but you can park one car for free during your stay. B2 is for hotel use only. If there is no space, park on the roadside outside the hotel. I see that all Koreans park randomly and don’t even post any signs. Ha ha

I had to go to Daegu urgently, so I made a reservation.
I looked for a hotel near Kyungpook National University Hospital and made a reservation, but Laonzena, which is said to be a 4-star hotel, had older room facilities than I expected.
Still, the service was very friendly.

I only used the infinity spa pool facilities, but I really liked it. Heal with the mountain view from your room, and heal with the view of Suseongmot Lake from the rooftop. With breakfast, a sauna, and an indoor hot spring pool, you can enjoy it even on very rainy days. If you are not using your own car, it may be a bit inconvenient due to the uphill climb, but since it was a trip, it was okay. There were reviews saying the soundproofing was bad and I was worried because it was in front of the elevator, but there was no inconvenience.

There was something a little different from what was written in the room
You can't get breakfast in the room
Even though you're a hotel guest, you can't use the pool in advance
Check-in is at 4 o'clock, but if you use the pool from 4 o'clock, it's a little ambiguous as to what the benefit is.

Recently stayed one night here. I was initially unhappy, especially at the way to get to the hotel with public transportation, but once I was inside in the room, I got amazed at the quality of the room for the price I paid. The room was very large with an impressive new flat TV and had a sofa and a fridge. Bed was also comfortable. I did not try, but there was tub outside the shower room. Water pressure was good. The room had nice amenities, three bottles of water, little cookies, cans of tea and sikhye, coffee pouches, and other little details. Also provided was a ziploc bag of personal hygiene items. The hotel provides a free breakfast. Breakfast room was small with simple traditional dishes. Next morning, I realized that the hotel is in the middle of a park. According to the map, there is a pond (perhaps a lake?) just outside the hotel, but I did not have time to check it out. I should add that the staff was very kind. The only negative side of my experience is that there is only one public bus line that comes to the area, which runs just once in an hour. I had to wait about 40 minutes to catch this bus. Other than this, I am extremely happy and hoping to visit again with family.

SSirikanda HommonthaBooking a hotel this time I just want to rest. The hotel was quiet and no noise making me sleep well. Facilities are suitable for the rental price. Before we booked, we had already studied what was available. Suitable for the price. I hurried back because I woke up late. Some photos taken during our return trip. The actual location is similar to the picture on the page. It's no different.
NNanookleskimoThe house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.
AAnonymous UserThe service was excellent. I was able to easily check-in and get to my room. The room itself was amazing! The only cringe I had was the head boards and ceiling decorations not being dusted, but other than that the room was very clean. The bathroom had a huge bathtub with a jacuzzi feature but unfortunately it did not work when I tried to use it. For military members, it was only a solid 15-18 minute walk from Camp Walker and near some some solid food places. I would definitely stay again.
GGuest UserThis hotel is amazing. The staff are so friendly and kind. When we arrived, we was greeted really well and given our room kept promptly! We was told we had been upgraded for free to a more spacious room. Which was so appreciated. There is only one lift but it’s fast and works perfectly well so no waiting was needed. When we entered the floor is smelled amazing, completely spotless. The room (floor 6) was impeccable. It had a large foyer with slippers and an umbrella. The room itself was amazing. A huge double bed, loads of space, a stylus wardrobe to steam your clothes, and loads of amenities, such as toiletries, hairdryer, kettle, dressing gowns etc. The bathroom was beautiful big and safe with a huge bathtub and a shower to choose from. The room had underfloor heating and air conditioning to keep a steady temperature. The windows are behind the mirrors which slide, it’s an excellent design choice to keep your privacy yet have the option of natural light. Huge tv with all channels and apps.
The room was cleaned daily, I noticed even the bedding was changed daily too. Towels and shower accessories were changed daily also.
I felt so safe and comfortable at this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. It’s a great spot with great access to landmarks. Wonderful stay! Thank you Cherish Hotel! I’ll be back!
GGuest UserLocation is very close to the train station, so convenient in case of an early train. From there it is also possible to reach subway and move around the city. Regarding the rooms, they were clean and quiet. At the reception water and some snacks were available. Water was for free, snacks I don't know. This is a love hotel. I didn't have any issue with it but I think it should be clearly mentioned to let the people decide if they want to stay in this type of accomodation and this was not mentioned at the moment of the reservation. -Price was expensive; -Nobody speak english there but on booking it is written that they can; The first room I got smelt of cigarettes. I complained and asked to have a non smoking room as per reservation and first they tried to remove the smell by spraying some perfume and of course didn't work. I insisted asking changing room and even if they had rooms available (the doors of the room available were left open) they told me that I had to wait the day after. They also proposed me to give me back the money and go to find another hotel (this like in the middle of the night). I was disappointed as the term of reservation were clear. They night after they upgraded me in a very nice room so fortunately everything went well but I think there is room for improvements in managing situations like mine.
GGuest UserThe room was in some sort of small 'apartment' so you could happen to share a small 'living room' and miniature Kitchen with another guest. The 'breakfast' was very small and only available in the kitchen on the first floor. The kitchen in the small flat had nothing regarding dishes and the kitchen on the first floor also had only a small amount of them. The staff was nice and communicating was hard but possible.
GGuest UserAlthough there was no breakfast for 5 days. I asked the boss and only said that it was raining or buying it tomorrow, but I didn't have breakfast. The hot water will be closed, and the boss will not take a cold shower if he asks the boss to open it. The location is very good. There are convenience stores going out. There are also several delicious restaurants in the alley. Overall. Very clean. I can feel that the boss is operating carefully. You can reach the hostel by bus from Daegu Airport.
GGirlMeetsWorldOn the surface it was clean, but hard to reach areas were very dusty. They were able to store our luggage, since we arrived at 1pm but was only allowed to check-in at 8pm. The building next door was a bit noisy at night. The bed was super hard and some stains on the pillow. Amenities were adequate, struggled a bit with a plug that didn't work and had to move things around. Were able to watch Netflix. Location is nice and close to a bus stop, Subway Sandwich, nice cafe and 7-Eleven.
