We had an amazing week at Dive Urge! The location is perfect, it’s within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops, while being a quiet area for those looking for a peaceful nights sleep. Lynne, Helal and all the team are so friendly and always happy to help. We really felt at home, so much so we stayed an extra night! The rooms were clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Atwa went out of his way to check on us throughout our stay - always with a smile. The diving was fantastic, Youstina and Ben are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. We are still relatively new to diving, and the extra guidance they gave has really helped us build on our skills and confidence. If you’re not a diver, there’s incredible snorkelling directly in front of Dive Urge’s beach. Hameed’s mountain dinner is also a must - the food and tea is delicious. We highly recommend Dive Urge and will definitely be back in future :)

I needed water as I was on the way to doctor in the heat I sat and asked for water, they denied me due to min 200le service charge. Very disgusting way to treat future customers and someone quite obviously very sick. My friend at the next cafe in eel garden gave me water for nothing

My daughter and I have have just returned home from the most wonderfully relaxing holiday at Dive Urge. From the moment that we arrived (at 2am) where they had provided some bread and dips for us in case we were peckish ( we definitely were)!! to sorting out Doctors appointments and helping us to feel most at home. We were both treated like princesses throughout our stay and the staff are all so friendly. The Mango Smoothies and banana and chocolate pancakes are to die for! Our room was clean and cool and the outside areas shady and tranquil. I would recommend this perfect spot and hope to return again very soon.

Honestly the best holiday my girlfriend and I have had, hands-down. Yes there is incredible diving, scuba diving, free diving, mountain fun etc etc, and lots of cool restaurants, beach time and epic scenery to see. But more important than anything, the world class hospitality and genuine love & care we experienced whilst we stayed with the family-run Dive Urge is something that will stay with us forever. They treated us so warmly, and attended to our every need. I consider everyone at Dive Urge to be my friend now, and have re-booked to go back and continue my diving journey with them in September (Youstina their senior dive instructor is next level - trust me she is so good at what she does). Anyway, thank you Lynn, Helal, Injie, Ben, Attwar, Mahmoud, Youstina and everyone else at Dive Urge that showed us some much love. My girlfriend & I cant wait to hang with you guys again...

Lovely stay at Dive Urge. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge with snacks. The Egyptian breakfasts are recommended, the coffee is good and the service was friendly. Being able to get into the sea straight from the beach is great.

Dive Urge provided an enjoyable and professional service. My friend and I had a fantastic time exploring different dive sites, including the Blue Hole. Our scuba instructor was friendly, professional and went the extra mile to make our experience truly memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure. The resort staff were very friendly and so keen to make our stay enjoyable. Aside from the great reputation Dive Urge has for scuba diving, they also have their own, private beach with drinking and eating areas. You can sun bathe and stare at the turquoise magic of the red sea whilst sipping a mango lassie. The food provided by the restaurant is reasonably priced and good! And the beach was only a 30-second walk from the guest rooms! We were also so impressed with the complimentary Bedouin dinner. Good food, friendly people and stars above us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Dive Urge - a perfect balance of relaxation and opportunities to discover the local areas with all they have to offer. This included a desert safari, canyon walking, camel riding and snorkeling. We discovered some great restaurants and a local bakery that was very hard pass by without stopping! Our rooms were a delight, clean and well appointed and the DIve Urge team friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. I was celebrating a significant birthday and left at the end of the week with many lovely memories.

I was travelling solo as my oh prefers skiing and I prefer scuba diving. I chose Dive Urge as they have small groups to a dive master/ instructor ( 4:1) and it has a great location towards the end of the row of hotels and restaurants along the front. The restaurant is on the beach with an indoor area if it is windy. The pre trip response times to emails was very quick and it was easy to arrange the diving, equipment hire etc pre trip. Dive Urge is small, with a few rooms which are spotlessly clean. Take a chilli water bottle as there is a water cooler in the room. The staff are amazing. I arrived after the restaurant had shut at 9pm and they had left me one of their delicious home made pizzas - at no charge- so I didn't have to go out. The staff really look after you and can arrange trips to White Canyon , blue lagoon if you are not diving. The diving is as you would expect of the Red Sea. My Diving Instructor was Youstina . I was the only diver for most of the week and there was no single supplement to pay. She is an excellent teacher. My buoyancy improved no end! She took lots of photos so I could just enjoy the diving but still have a reminder of what we had done. I did an extra trip to Gab el Bint ( I think) and we also dived the famous Dahab Blue Hole Dahab itself is very chilled . It is off season so pretty quiet. I bought a couple of rugs in the shops in the squsre behind Dive Urge, there is also an excellent bakery doing baklava and a bottle shop if you want beer - restaurants seem byo in general. The wifi was patchy at the start - but sorted after a day or so. My package included a 'mountain dinner' which was great - amazing stars So yes, I had a great week, felt very safe for solo travellers , excellent for safe and beautiful diving with a bunch of lovely people. There are plenty of restaurants nearby though Dive Urge Restaurant good. I liked Eel Garden View , wasnt so impressed with Shark , Lighthouse Restaurant at Lighthouse is one of the diving ones we used but has sun loungers and snorkelling too, good food.

We had a wonderful two weeks over Christmas new year at Dive Urge. We got total relaxation and a wonderful service. Our room was small, very clean, comfy with a view out to the sea and hear the sea. Breakfast on the beach was heaven, tshirt and shorts weather. Comfy chairs on a very peaceful beach away from the road and NO music, heaven. Sun loungers facing the sea, sunbathing, perfect for reading our books. We snorkelled straight from the beach, sea same temperature as the air, fresh at first, rash vest helpful. Its a huge reef that doesn’t get deep for 60 metres. Lots of fish to see. When it’s rough, it is a great work out. It did get windy but there are areas to get away, the cushion Bedouin seating and the court yard hammocks. We did the tours on offer, very enjoyable, no effort, camel ride to the Bedouin dinner under the stars, amazing peacefulness and of course the Blue hole. The staff are so lovely. Food was excellent and service impeccable. Enjoyed our walks into the town (sweatshirt and linen trousers) to see life, restaurants of all food types. Lovely to be on holiday and meet like minded adventurers. We also found a second hand snorkel shop north up the main road. Thank you.
