Lovely stay here. Very relaxing, our room had a terrace overlooking the lake (next to the main terrace which is also lovely). Great fish for dinner, good service, and the hotel picked us up in a golf cart and helped with luggage. Overall a great stay, would recommend!

The manager is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downfall from staying here was the pool cannot actually be used for swimming. It is only for photos.

I rarely leave reviews but this was probably the best hotel stay I’ve had in China so far. Mostly due to the incredibly helpful and accommodating owner/staff & gorgeous, peaceful location. From the start the owner added my WeChat so I was able to make requests or ask questions very easily. The hotel will carry all your bags, greet you with yummy fruit, rose cakes & tea in your room. I was allowed to choose between 3 different rooms to accommodate for possible wind/ noise level (very thoughtful). The included breakfast is generous & delicious (& when they discovered I was allergic to cows milk they bought me soymilk right away!). There are sturdy bikes you can use to bike around the lake & to interesting villages nearby. The rooms are beautiful & subtle with soft bedding & if you choose room with a bathtub you won’t be disappointed :) 100% would stay again & hope to visit on the future.

This place is spectacular! It’s on the Ecological Corridor of Erhai Lake. Have bikes free-of-charge for you to ride around. Beautiful view of Erhai Lake, upgraded rooms have access to balcony patio and/or big, soaker bathtubs. Really friendly and helpful staff. There’s one guy that’s super hot. My only issue is people would smoke in the lobby, even though there’s patio seating right outside and there’s a “no smoking” sign posted inside. They should enforce it to remain considered a nice place. All of my pictures taken from the hotel property.

Absolutely loved our stay. The view off the balcony was so nice. The sunrise, sunset, all day, and stars at night were unreal. Biking and walking around the lake was so nice, it’s a no car zone so very safe and pleasant to walk around. The people who run the hotel were so helpful and kind. They gave us so many local recommendations for indigo, silver, poetry, and baskets. Unbelievable prices and local purchases. The breakfast was really nice too and all the food we got there was good. Would highly recommend this hotel, especially for the quiet and nature orientated location. Only downside was the pool was for taking pictures, not swimming which is bizarre.

I chose this place with the mentality of giving it a try this weekend. It was an experience beyond my expectations. It is an ideal resort, facing Erhai Lake, right in the S Bay of the lakeside wetland. Compared with the earlier developed areas such as Caicun, it is not mature and lively, but it is very suitable for quiet travel with children and the elderly. Take a walk along the lakeside road with the afterglow, ride a bike to Xizhou Ancient Town, enjoy the scenery of the wetland park along the way, and the pastoral scenery, which is comfortable and wireless. Although the hotel is a homestay, the service is also very good, warm and thoughtful. For people who like quietness and like to take their children for a walk and ride, it is highly recommended. Of course, if the quality of breakfast rice noodles is improved, it will be perfect.

The disadvantage is that it is inconvenient to eat. I don’t want to go to other places to eat, so I just solve it in the hotel. The hotel cooks home-style, and the taste is also good, but there are not many varieties and not enough choices. In addition, the breakfast variety is a bit simple, there is no coffee machine and freshly ground coffee, which is a bit regrettable for people like me who rely on coffee to survive.

You can see Erhai Lake right when you go out, and there are not too many people. It is convenient for cycling and you can also watch the sunrise. The boss is also very nice. I want to stay here again next time. I hope the boss will not raise the price.
