The owner is also incredibly welcoming and friendly. They helped us plan our sightseeing routes and even arranged transportation, which made everything so easy and stress-free – definitely no regrets! And the cats at the guesthouse are absolutely adorable."

"The room was incredibly spacious with a great view outside the window. The duvet was just the right thickness, making for a very comfortable sleep. The rice noodles in the morning were delicious; my daughter still talks about wanting to go back and eat them even after we've left. The guesthouse is super convenient for getting to Dali Ancient City; it's just a straight walk down one road. My mom, who usually stays home, was even willing to go out and explore by herself. The room gets a lot of natural light, so it might be quite bright in the morning. Bringing an eye mask would make it perfect!"

"This is by far the most delightful sea-view hotel I've stayed at in Dali, completely exceeding my expectations! It definitely deserves a full score recommendation! The hotel is nestled on the hillside of Ideal Utopia, with blue and white cave-style architecture built into the mountain. As soon as you open the door, you're greeted with an unobstructed panoramic view of Erhai Lake, with the Cangshan Mountains shrouded in mist. In the evening, you can watch the sunset paint the lake, and in the morning, wake up to the sea breeze and sunrise – the ambiance is absolutely perfect. The rooms are spacious, and the King Koil mattress ensures a super comfortable sleep. Details like Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures, a Dyson hairdryer, and smart temperature control all speak to the high quality. The wet and dry areas are clean and tidy, the mini-bar is complimentary and restocked, and even the toiletries are thoughtfully selected. Our dedicated butler provided one-on-one service throughout our stay, from airport/station transfers to check-in guidance. They were incredibly responsive to our needs and even thoughtfully recommended lesser-known photo spots and sightseeing routes. Breakfast was rich and varied, offering both Yunnan local snacks and Western dishes. We also received welcome fruit daily and a sweet soup before bed – so warm and attentive. The infinity pool in the public area is fantastic for photos, with its pure white backdrop against the blue sea and sky, making every shot Instagram-worthy. You can enjoy the stunning mountain and sea views without the crowds. There's no excessive commercial noise here, just a tranquil and relaxing vacation vibe. The facilities, service, and views are all top-notch, making it the highlight of our Dali trip. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Dali, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake in an immersive way!"

"The environment was quite nice, and the owner was very welcoming. We brought our child and just wanted something clean. There are so many guesthouses out there, it was overwhelming. We chose this one because it looked clean in the photos. It was pretty good. If possible, it's best to go during the off-season; accommodations are cheaper, and there are fewer people, making it suitable for relaxation and escaping."
