2-Star Hotels in Dallas

This is review is not an issue of a dirty room or an amenity being down, this is about my kid being stuck in an elevator. She called the front desk who said they would send over maintenance which never happened so after 45 minutes she pressed the emergency button that prompted the fire department to come pry the doors open and pull her through the roof between 2 floors. My original call to Hilton was to kindly ask for one night’s reimbursement but after 4 weeks of no one returning my call, the manager’s voice mail being full and the complete disregard for my valid concern I am appalled by the lack of care and concern. I understand that elevators can go down and the hotel can only call for repair, things happen but when this happens they should have constant communication with the person trapped with reassurance they are right there working on it and make sure they know they are on top of it. They didn’t send maintenance or communicate with her while she was in the elevator and she had to call for emergency help. Several fire trucks arrived and had to force the doors open between floors. This establishment is so poorly run they can not even have the decency to answer the phone and apologize. I expect a call from the General Manager of the Hampton Inn Dallas at a minimum.

Location is on sketchy side, got here and they said I didn’t have a reservation and upon further investigation they found that someone else had checked me in at 5:00am but they went up to room and it was clean & ready so maybe an error on someone’s part. Floors are dirty with crumbs and such not sure if they need a new vacuum or just need to vacuum. Bedding & bathroom are clean. Our whole 2nd floor when we step off elevator smells of **** so bad even my kids complained of the “bad” smell. We will check out the breakfast in the mornings overall the appearance of the place seems Mostly clean.

The room was very good, the cleaning tip was put, the waiter didn't even take it. It was very strange. There was a waiter at the front desk. The service was very general. I didn't understand what I was talking about. Others were very good. No car was inconvenient to play nearby.

Easily one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a hot minute. They were more then accommodating and the workers at the front desk were some of the sweetest people i've had the pleasure to chat with. I know for a fact whenever I come back to Dallas I'll be booking with them again in the future. The only things I can point out, and none of them are downsides but simply things to be aware of: - Our room on the ground floor had no windows. This isn't a problem but I did find I wanted to set an alarm on my phone for basically everything since I didn't have the sun to tell me if I super over slept or not - The pillows were a little thin, easy fix though! Just bring your own from home- or if you're rooming by yourself stack the pillows up - Again I think this only matters if you get a room on the ground floor/by the front desk but since it is a Social Hotel they mean that! Could easily hear some partying going on so if you're looking for silence this might not be the best choice for ya

Not overwhelmingly friendly. Long check in with nobody else there. No luggage cart. Had to bring everything in because the reviews warn of car robberies. No warm breakfast. Password written wrong on card key holder. Ugh. The little things. I called the front desk for the password. LYT57. See photo.

We had our return flight cancel on us, the staff was amazing! They went above & beyond to help us get through a stressful situation. Hotel was clean and the staff was amazing! I would highly recommend.

Convenient location, high speed, quiet in the middle of the road, facilities are new, clean, and now may still have decoration. On the side is the best burger in n out.
