Staff r friendly n helpful. The mean is nice but bit expensive. The room is clean. There are several staff n all the women r friendly n helpful.

The hotel is a black hole . U shd not even think of booking this. I paid 22k for booking two days for my family and on entering the hotel I realised that they don't have any ventilation. It's like a black hole. I finally , without even checking in , booked a room with May fair . If u belong to good class and have stayed in good hotels , never book this. Book only if u r used to staying in dark lodges.

I checked in to this hotel as a Club Mahindra member. If you book on your own, I saw that you getter a better room with a view. Hotel is good, ***** with its staff. Since I was a CM member, the rooms allocated were small, claustrophobic, no view (a wall seen from window). So upgraded to a family room by paying the differential. Else there was no point spending time and money just to see a wall. Otherwise, front desk staff are polite and good. In room dining and restaurant staff are excellent and helpful. Good tasty food at decent prices. Proximity to Mall Road is good and you can walk down. Upkeep and maintenance needs some attention as the upgraded room was not completely clean till we pointed out. The local sightseeing contact provided was very good. Good hotel if you book directly, not as good if you are a CM member.

The hotel is very good. It is nearly 2 km from the Mall Road, Darjeeling. The room of the hotel is also good, well maintained, but not much spacious. According to the view, there are two types of room available in the hotel - valley view and road view. In the top floor some attic room is available - as per my opinion these room is better than other road view room. The food quality is good, but cost is in the higher side. The behavior of all the staff of the hotel is very good, polite and all are very helpful. Overall experience of the stay at Summit Hermon Hotel, Darjeeling is good.

I stayed in this hotel with my husband and a close friend during our trip in Darjeeling. We found it extremely well located and confortable. A special mention to the staff ( very kind and helpful) and to the restaurant. We had dinner three times and we found food always excellent. ...and we are Italians.

Hotel Room are very clean, staff is very coperative, food was very good, Hotel location is ok, outside view from rooms are very nice

The room we took was quite spacious, and that was the only good thing about this property. The breakfast spread was extremely disappointing, and housekeeping was also not up to the mark. The towels we were provided were not soft, and for a hotel of this standard to not keep complimentary cookies in the room was disappointing

We visited Summit Hermon as part of Club Mahindra affiliated hotels. At the outset, the hotel is tucked away in a lane, far away from the Mall. The rooms, though large , are very sparsely furnished and quite disappointing. It doesn't even have a proper almirah to keep the clothes. Bathroom is basic, but clean and has a geyser. The only good point of this hotel is the food quality which is good and reasonably priced. Rest, nothing much to write, and is avoidable for better options.

Although it is a very compact property, but very well managed. I stayed there with my family for two nights. We were offered free upgrade of our room, the rooms are not very big but were neat and clean. Food quality and taste is also very good. Breakfast had sufficient options.
