Serenity Home

Stayed during May22 end. Property is a homestay in the 3rd floor of a building. Consisting of 4 rooms. We booked room with balcony. Rooms are okies find of. Furniture are bit old and may need replacement. Balcony is covered and blocks the view to some extend. Washroom is neat and clean with geyser facility. Owner also stays in the same floor and is very helpful. Inhouse food is okies and bit costly. They have 2 helpers who are good and can bring food from outside also. Free Wifi facility avaiable.

A best place to stay at Darjeeling if you really wanna feel "home away from home". Serenity home stay is situated just near the Darjeeling Heritage station. If you drop at the station while coming from Siliguri u need to just cross the road and climb up about 200 MTR. Mr. Sanjay and his wife Ms. Vicky both are awesome hosts, it started with an an wow factor from the step in itself. Vijay is the assistant of them, verily soft spoken and excellent in behavior, always ready to help attitude. The room has all the amenities, including 24 hrs hot water, nice comfy bed, bathroom slippers, bathroom amenities etc. Food is absolutely homely with a great taste. Sight seeing can be done thru them also. Mall is very near just abt 10 mins walking , on the way to mall u will get Kaventers as well Glenary's, to stop over for sumptuous English breakfast and mouth watering bakery items. In a word it was a great place to stay and rejuvenate urself at Darjeeling.

We stayed 4 nights and have to say, we had a very comfortable stay. Management team were very friendly and food was tasty. It's a small hotel or should I say homestay, managed by husband and wife but they are very friendly couple. Ambience was very nice. Simply go for it if you are couple or family. View of mountain from balcony was spectacular. Common facilities like hot water and WiFi are present 24 hours. Overall it's thumbs-up.
