Situated less than a minute from Davos Dorf station means that getting to and from the hotel is very easy. Four of us stayed for a business trip and snowboarded every day. The P****nn station (and lift pass office) is a five minute walk away, and if you use to train to get to the friendly little resort of Rinerhorn then it couldn't be easier. The hotel is clean and the I rank this as one of the hotels with the friendliest staff encountered. They really couldn't do more for us and even provided a packed lunch for our journey home at the end of the trip. The breakfast buffet was fresh and healthy and the restaurant in the evening was first class. Highly recommeneded if you like a hotel that's has a family run feel, is slightly away from the hustle of the town centre and in easy reach of ski locations.

The hotel is located in the middle of the two train stations. It takes about 15 minutes to walk, but there are buses that can get under the hotel and buses are more frequent. Good breakfast, cereal coffee, etc., you can make waffles yourself, if you want to eat fried eggs or boiled eggs, you need to tell the staff. The hygiene is very clean.

We can only recommend the Concordia in all respects, even if it is a older construction year. We were stayed there in the course of a booked train trip of a well-known Swiss company and were very satisfied. Rooms in top condition,(our even with large balcony), cleaning and equipment without any injury. , and even if the bathroom has a visual size, which is certainly due to the construction year, it is clean and sufficient. The reception is very well placed and always very friendly and helpful in all questions about the hotel, the city and all questions about the booked trains. Thank you especially ☆ Special is also the free parking in the hotel in the middle of Davos!! , which is very well organized by the reception. ☆ Breakfast and dinner are over-average and varied for a 3-star hotel. The staff is very good and careful, as all staff in the hotel are very friendly and premature, the family atmosphere in the house has very well been enjoyed. ☆ A bus stop is just in front of the hotel and with the integrated gray lockpass is the entire surrounding area and the Davos Square station in a few minutes free of charge. ☆ Overall, the Concordia Hotel in Davos is even a small secret tip, as it is only so that it is turning from hotel palaces in the city where at high prices no much more comfort can be offered, except perhaps a parking space for high parking fees. ☆ Our recommendation is certain that we would book it immediately. Perfect location! The rooms were spacious, new with very high 4 star rating. Service was also 5 star. They had challenges with the warm water system during the stay, which was a problem. But, they handled it in a perfect way. They gave one day for free and also invited us to a mingle/drink in the lobby. So, all in all we had a great stay. The only thing that the hotel lacks is a SPA. Else all would have been 5 star.

A fantastically spacious appartment, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs. There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.

This night tape will continue until 3h30 a.m.!!!! A shame!!! In the morning, after sleeping just a few hours, we can't have a very bad breakfast in this hotel, and then I ask the manager to explain my dissatisfaction when check out. His answer: ”Ah? A great experience. I will definitely visit again as soon as I can. The hotel is on the main street of Davos. The building is kind of historical and has a lot of fashion. Sehr freundlichen Empfang und Service Guten Preis/Qualitat Rate Fruhstuck ausgebreitet und ausgezeichnet Halbpension ist moglich aber einfach. Die Zimmer sind schon und werden gut versorgt. Die Lage in der Nahe von Madrisabahn und Bahnhof ist ausgezeichnet und sehr bequem. Die Bedienung gebraucht often die Worter ‘super’ und ‘TipTop’ und das ist nicht ubertrieben. Wir qualifizieren es auch als Super!

My husband and I spent the old week at Hotel Strela. We had a relaxed and beautiful time in Davos - but the Hotel Strela has only contributed limitedly. We had a corner room which was very small. In addition, despite the warm weather, it was very cold in the room. According to the reception, the use of heating was reduced, which is good in view of the current situation. But freezing in the room with wool pullover is unpleasant. It was only strongly provided to us with a heat oven. Besides the cold Temp. Breakfast was very disappointing. The selection was short and unchanged, without change - only fulfilled the purpose. What convinced us when booking was the shuttle service, which did not work. In general, our stay was okay. However, it is the small things that make it like, for example, two bottles of water as a greeting in the room, which you could not open without a bottle opener (it had no opener in the room), the inoperative WiFi or that the Cleaners are blocking the door before 9.00 and “storms” into the room. We cannot recommend the Hotel Strela, especially not at this price.
