With the current travel restrictions we were nervous we’d not be allowed into the province and the hotel staff were helpful getting us the information we needed to enter the county and final arrive at their hotel. We felt taken care of and they arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport. They greeted us with smiles, the housekeeper left fruits and a nice hand written note, and the front desk did their best to make our stay a comfortable one. We were traveling with our toddler and the food options were delicious and affordable. We want to say thank you to Chen Kai for going out of his way to make us feel special and welcomed. He speaks English and made many great suggestions regarding travel, activities, and calling the hospitals to see where we could get our nucleic test. The space is surrounded my mountains and it’s green everywhere you look. You can take a boat ride along the river located just in front of the property. Currently there is construction on one side, they are expanding the facilities. The whole space is nice as worth a visit. We didn’t give a 5 for amenities because we felt it could have catered more to families.

I was looking forward to the hotel in Chongzuo, and it was really wonderful. Nami added a text message the day before. When I arrived at the hotel, she introduced the hotel's facilities and activity arrangements. She was warm and friendly. I thanked the hotel staff for taking good care of everything. As soon as I entered the door, Aunt Huang and others performed a Zhuang ritual reception and welcomed ice powder. The banana forest at the entrance was like entering a secret place. The design and decoration of the hotel are at a perfect level. Looking back, it will be a beautiful picture. The unique mountains, rivers and tropical vegetation of Guangxi are all integrated just right. The hotel facilities also pay attention to details. There are reading rooms, infinity pools, and activity rooms. There will be lemongrass water and fruits. There is lemongrass essential oil in the room to prevent mosquitoes, etc. The packaging boxes of toiletries are also various patterns. I like the restaurant very much. The dishes are very local. There are buffets and orders for breakfast. The best snail noodles are here.

This hotel was amazing! Every aspect was built with comfort, beauty and relaxation in mind. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

The location is excellent, the surrounding environment is secluded and beautiful, there is no interruption of other homestays, it is an independent exclusive location, it is a fish scale dam when you go out, and it is within walking distance from Mingxuan Pastoral, but it is recommended to drive or rent an electric car at the door. The hotel service is thoughtful and enthusiastic. When I came, I actually didn’t do a strategy. I asked the lobby staff when I checked in. The staff enthusiastically gave correct and useful help to travel and dining. The room layout is beautiful, the courtyard room is super suitable for vacation, drinking tea and chatting in the yard, the bathtub is also very comfortable, the disposable bath bag and rose petals are intimate, there is a bed in the yard that can be sunbathed (not a bed). The six treasure tea in the room is also very good. The hotel decoration is suitable for taking pictures, very popular, the front desk recommends watching the sunset on the roof platform when you check in! Hua Lu (Lost in Nature) Hotel My wife and I stayed here for three nights in December 2023, but regretted that our schedule did not allow us to stay longer. The Hua Lu Hotel is a charming boutique hotel located in the Ming Shi village that features clusters of needle mountains that aggressively protrude from what otherwise appears to be a level agricultural plain. The origins of the village were for its farming potential but the stunning beauty of the location has popularized it as a tourist haunt, a place to visit either before or after checking out the Detian Waterfall on the China-Vietnam border. In among the locals’ modest houses, several B&Bs and hotels have sprouted to cater to tourists wanting a wide spectrum of accommodations from the extremely basic up to relatively high-end resorts. The Hua Lu (Lost in Nature) is best categorized as a high-end boutique hotel. It is situated on the eastern periphery of Ming Shi well away (approximately a kilometer) from a busy highway around which many of its competitors are clustered. The accent at the Hua Lo is on tranquility. Our room was a well-conceived suite that had been furnished with a Zen sensibility. The bathroom featured an oversize bathtub and separate shower unit, and there was a spacious and comfortable sitting area. A south-facing balcony overlooked an intensely cultivated, multi-acre market-garden, irrigated by river-fed, man-made channels. Locals could be observed tending crops from dawn to dusk in these fields. A Chinese style breakfast was included the room fee, but we also opted to eat dinner each evening in the hotel restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner meals were prepared with an accent on health and use of locally grown foods. After dark, an open fireplace in a courtyard was used to barbecue snacks such as sweet potato and chicken: the courtyard doubled as a children’s play area and storage place for bicycles (pedal) which could be used by hotel guests. Evidence suggests that tourism has trumped agriculture as the main occupation of the Ming Shi village. For tourists who prefer a more communal experience, the village offers guided sampan tours on the river that wends its way through the village. However, the best way to benefit from the village scenery is by bicycle. Cycling around the village and its dramatic needle-mountain vistas is easy, the bike trails are converted ag paths that intertwine the crop fields. They are paved and free of the traffic of tourist coaches, trucks and E-scooters that rage along the main highway. My wife and I felt that we had come across a gem of experience that vastly exceeded our expectations when we booked the hotel. We plan to visit again next year, to enjoy a longer stay with the R&R it provides. Sean Bennett

After many years, I came to Daxin again and stayed at the Vienna Hotel again. I still didn't find the room type with breakfast on Trip.com. Hotel facilities are good, the parking lot is in front of the hotel, can park a lot of cars. The hotel lobby is very big and the room is very big. The room for us is right next to the elevator and the sound insulation is not very good.

The location of the hotel is easy to find. The location is very advantageous. The parking spaces are sufficient and convenient. The rooms are well decorated and the facilities are complete. It is very cost-effective for more than 200 people. The breakfast is rich in variety and covers both the north and the south.

I stayed 2 nights at the Mingshi Mountain Village. The amenities were very nice, as well as the service. The location was very convenient for visiting the Detian Waterfall (about 45 minutes away by car) and also for enjoying the Mingshi Scenic area. I rented a bike from the hotel one day (free with your hotel stay) and had a great time exploring the surrounding bike paths - highly recommend! The hotel staff were also great in helping me arrange a car to take me to the Nanning Airport. I also liked that I could go inside the Scenic Area for free with my room card - it was great for evening walks and for the shows held there at night. I didn’t try the pool (but you need to pay extra for it anyways). The breakfast is nice - it’s what you’d usually find for a Chinese international hotel. There was coffee & milk as well! Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay here again.

The hotel is nestled into the Kapok Scenic Area gardens, and the landscaping is as serene as it is stunning. Buying a ticket and catching the tour bus for Detian waterfall required hiking down the mountain, but the hike offered beautiful vistas. My room was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. I was delighted to discover the room had both a small balcony and a wooden bathtub. The concierge was very helpful, and connected me with a personal driver to take me back into Daxin city, who patiently helped me through a Covid-19 testing requirement issue.

Room: You can enjoy the scenery while lying on the bed, which is very chill. The room size is not large, but it is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Facilities: The swimming pool is clean and beautiful. There is a washing machine, and the front desk helped wash and dry the clothes for us. The only small problem is that there is no parking lot. Parking is on the path in front of the B&B. Environment: There is nothing to say about the surrounding natural environment, it is right next to Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area. It's also convenient to go out to eat. There are many restaurants on the road outside to choose from. Service: Super good! The aunts and ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic. They will tell us how to play around, what to pay attention to, and bring us water every time we go out. Because we couldn't make it back to check out at the scenic spot at noon, they extended our check out until one o'clock in the afternoon.
