What a little gem with such wonderful hostess. Rooms and facilities were where nice, the place is well kept and clean. They offer braai facilities, you can buy your meat there if need it. Such a pleasant place to find in De Aar.

The place was amazing. I slept so well and ate a lot of good food. I arrived and the hospitality was amazing. It is gated so security isn't an issue. The house and facilities were impeccable and very neat. Everything was clean and nice. My room way so nice having a heater and so on. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Actually when I saw pictures of the Guest house on Google maps I thought I'm going to sleep in someone's home and didn't think that Mr Jan and his wife could make my stay so memorable. Dee Aar is a small town for such a great place. When i popped on the gate my mind was shattered with a warm welcome. Felt like a President for a night.

Potties exceeded my expectations. The hosts went 10 extra miles to ensure i was comfortable & even served me dinner at the last minute. And what an amazing plate of food i got. Beautiful garden & a crystal clean pool. I will definitely be back.... Only issue i did have but its more a personal preference is that the shower has a shower curtain.

Special place in the Karoo! Such a peaceful and Beautiful Gem. We absolutely loved our stay! Andrea & Jannie made us feel so special, you truely feel as if you are on holiday! Beautiful gardens, friendly staff and excellent food. Rooms are stunning with crisp linen, comfy beds and clean. No need to worry about loadshedding at this stunning guesthouse! Will definately be visiting again!

Super friendly - great experience - modern accommodation - loadshedding but able to accommodate and even helped with coffee inside - great food. First time I chose to stay there and will definitely be using them for my business trip accommodation going forward without a doubt

We had an excellent stop over in De Aar and would stay at Potties again. Very friendly hosts, comfortable accommodation and good recommendations on local restaurant. Were served the best omelette at breakfast for many a year.

It was a surprise to find this destination in De Aar. It lived up to the description and photos on the internet. But our group of 8 people did not find the constant barking of the resident dog to be on. I stayed in room 2 . The water tank is just outside of that room and the electric pump kicks in every time someone in the whole facility opens a tap.

Excellent in every way! Safe parking, clean and well equiped rooms (you won't even know it is loadshedding), beautiful gardens, excellent food, friendly staff and lovely host and hostess!! A highly recommend all around!!!
