Not handicap friendly...stairs to access the check in and rooms with no ramp and only a very obliging but elderly lady who offered to help with the luggage. The room was barely neat and clean. The restaurant was not open. It would appear that the ownership has recently changed and this hotel has gone down hill. Because we had prepaid, we didn't leave, but we will never go back.

Floor boards in room 225 are rotting. Floor rugs in both rooms are old. Hallway floor covering is new. Looks good . Room 228 minimal even for one night while waiting to board a flight next day. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Had a reservation for a room with standard double bed. I’m not sure which “standard” was used because the bed we stayed in was smaller than my “standard”at home. Checking-in went smooth but after we got to our room the front desk staff called to say we were supposed to be in another room. But I’m undressed, tired and the room is now a mess. There is no way I’m moving now. That’s when I realized the bed was too small for two. On the bright side, I’m in Newfoundland and I, my wife and our luggage survived the flight so I’ll make do. The bed linens smelled great and the room was spotless. The towels were skimpy as were the bath products. The stairs were awful and no breakfast.

Was supposed to camp at campground but heavy rain forecast. Got the last room. Was told a "double" bed but quite sure was 3/4 size - tiny but comfortable. The room was small but furniture, other than bed, was huge. Maybe management should look into smaller to make room roomier. The shower was the best I have had in a hotel. Lots of hot water and pressure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Quite, comfortable night. Overall a good experience

This place is the dirtiest place I've ever stayed in - dirty floors, walls, and dusty everything. I complained to the manager and took him to the room showing him how dirty it was. I will NEVER stay there again!

Older run down hotel in Deer lake which could use an upgrade. Access is difficult with stairs at entrance if u have roller bags or decreased mobility. Stairs inside arrow so ask for ground floor. Restaurant in hotel and lots of places to eat nearby. I stayed here because of early flight out of the local airport which worked well. No breakfast at hotel. I would not recommend this hotel, except for airport access.

My husband and I stayed at this inn September 22/22. The hotel is not clean. We had narrow stairs to climb to get to our room. The room was very outdated, had to have someone come and fix the plug-in in the bathroom. Debris left after the work was done. Beds very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this hotel!!

This place is a complete dump. Dirty, smells terrible and the staff are rude. Stay elsewhere! Even if you have to drive to Corner Brook for accommodations, believe me, it will be worth it. Save yourself the experience...

Not a good experience. Room was cramped and the bed worn out and uncomfortable. No wifi, no breakfast restaurant. If you are seeking a moderately priced place to stay in Deer Lake you should be able to find better than this.
