Nice place to visit....excellent food,great taste, well maintained garden,spacious rooms with A.C. swimming pool very clean and hygienic...best place for relaxation ,owner was kind hearted,co-operative, staff was too good provided service in time

It’s secluded and isolated beautifully located amidst jungle ... listening to chirping of birds can get your urban stress relieved Bit expensive... don’t expect luxury here... rooms are spacious ..washroom are huge... but average old built in old style Service is pathetic... service standards are not unp to mark ...staff doesn’t listen or respond easily unless you request then shout with Complaint to their senior During low occupancy they don’t serve buffet breakfast... Al a carte option is given... for that you literally have to wait and beg for service... it took 2 hours to get breakfast complete where 1 hour 40 minutes were wasted in waiting only Food quality is nice.. desi style cooking amidst natural surroundings adds aroma to taste Worth visiting once... Overall will give 4 star to Property location and 2 star to service

This resort is situated away from the hustle of city in a well maintained forest area. Once you enter the little road inside the forest to reach the hotel, you start feeling inner peace. The property has an antique, colonial feel with well appointed large rooms with Jacuzzi. Life slows down a bit there. My only complaint is that I booked it for one night...one needs to be there for 3-4 nights, throw the phone away and enjoy complete peace in the lap of nature and luxury.

We stayed four nights in the Shanti suite in late December 2019. The food and beverage service is top notch and the owner Michael Dalvi ensures it is. The staff was attentive and made us feel very special. Each meal we had was delicious and made with home-grown organic vegetables. We enjoyed several items but recommend the Beans on Toast at breakfast, Chicken Malai Tikka starter and Shepards Pie at dinner. I started each morning sitting on a chair on the Suite's private patio, sipping my tea and watching the monkeys perform their morning commute from tree to tree. My teenage son and husband enjoyed the workout room, the bird sanctuary and the Koi pond. The whole resort is full of hidden treasures for the whole family to enjoy. We highly recommend Vishranti Jungle Retreat to anyone looking to relax and enjoy mouth-watering food.

It's a beautiful resort away from the maddening city crowd.Tucked away in a village near Dehradun is a must visit place....Food is amazing and freshly prepared..all farm fresh veggies used .Though it takes a little long but it's worth the wait.

My husband, our baby our German Shepherd and myself drove from Delhi to Dehradun to stay in this fabulous resort. The retreat is superb! A visual treat for anybody who loves and feels at home with nature. The exotic birds in the gardens added to our delight. But what took our breath away was the hospitality extended to us whether it was the staff, cooking for our German Shepherd ( she only eats home cooked food) , ensuring her food was served the way we had requested for, delivering the same in her bowl (we had carried this) to our room just made us feel so wanted and grateful. The rooms are beautiful and reminded us of our own home. The food is Outstanding! Absolutely superb continental and Indian cuisine was served. We wanted to enjoy the morning sun and requested to be served breakfast outdoors which was done as soon as we made our request. The Bar Manager was equally hospitable and our baby was welcomed in his area as the cosy fireplace was lit for our convenience in the Bar. (We ensured she was muzzled and did not disturb anyone else) it was truly a pleasure staying three nights at Vishranti and we are just so grateful that such a high class resort is open to allowing families bring their best friend and best member ( our German Shepherd) into their premises. We have told all our friends and family about this wonderful experience and would definitely visit again. Thank you Management and Staff ( all ) for making this such a wonderful holiday for Gaby, Dhruv and me.

This was my second visit to this hideout. Was as good as before, good caring staff, SPA at its best and Food to your choice. The approach to the Resort however has not improved yet thou. You get up to the chirping sounds of birds (or at times loud running of monkey's on the roof). A stroll within the resorts can be very soothing morning or evening with inhouse mini zoo collection of some rare species of Birds and species. Was bit disappointed thou this time about the same old toilet seat cover which was cracked earlier and same as in this visit too.

Heaven like experience. One should visit to mediate or rest and enjoy the resort in mid of dense jungle in Dehradun . The staff is very good. The food is very delicious and made from stuff of their own organic farming.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Its the only word I can say about the property. We stayed at vishranti for 2 nights and the experience was out of the world. For anyone, who wants to be at a secluded place and yet in luxury, visit vishranti resorts for the experience of the life time. Will definitely go back to vishranti. Kudos to the staff and the management..... Pankaj S Zerbade, Nagpur.
