I stayed at Hotel Royal Castle back in 2019, and at that time, the rooms weren't up to the mark. However, during my recent stay in 2024, I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations. The rooms are now much warmer and more inviting, with a charming old-world feel to the furniture. The beds were nicely made, and overall, the environment was quite comfortable. The service really stood out to me. The staff, from the person delivering the food to the one handling the luggage, were all courteous and professional. For example, I tipped Rs. 100 on one occasion and Rs. 50 on another, and I never felt any discomfort from the staff about the amount, which shows their genuine hospitality. The restaurant is highly responsive, serving food quickly, which was a big plus. The only area where I feel some improvement could be made is the breakfast options, which are quite limited. That said, since most guests probably book the bed-and-breakfast package, I understand why. We stayed here during Durga Puja, and the hotel's proximity to Chittaranjan Park Market No. 2 was a big convenience—just a short walk away. Overall, this place offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant stay in the area. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay at a reasonable price.

The hotel we prefer was not available and this was the nearest alternate. Initially, used to the 'business hotel' look, i was not impressed with the music inspired theme. However, though old and on a small scale, the room was comfortable, the people were friendly and the food was good, so i warmed up to the hotel.

The room is not worth for the money that is pad. Very ordinary rooms with smoke smell. Window ac only in rooms. Menu card price for food is too high.

Location of the hotel is good, food is very delicious, cook is good. But breakfast variety is not as per standard, only one item is available apart from bread butter or sandwich. At-least they should provide 3 options to choose from. Room i booked was superb room with bath tub, but bath tub was missing. Rest services are above avg no complaints.
