Berkshire on the Ocean by VRI Resort

Great access to uncrowded beach. Resort is old but functional. They are giving it a face lift with painting. Customer service was excellent!

Great location. Communicate with the front desk via text. Pool on site. Sits directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Great stretches of sand to walk. Atlantic Avenue is lined with shops and restaurants. Flag 3 beach. Kitchen is small but well stocked with utensils and appliances. Our king sized bed was comfortable. Very hot outside, the AC works well. Also had ceiling fans. Beach towel service. chairs , loungers and umbrellas already set up on beach. Easy Peasy!

Oceanfront. Small pool and putting green. Quiet area. You either need to bring your own food or drive to restaurants as there is not much in walking distance. Best for adults. Beach was not crowded. Units have everything you need including a full kitchen. The property is a timeshare but we were able to stay for a couple of nights. Morikami is only about 15-20 minutes away.

The location is a bit aged. Other than that, it is fantastic. The unit has ample storage and functionality. The pool is very nice with plenty of outdoor seating and there are grills available. The beach access is extremely convenient and the courtesy cabanas are fabulous!

Perfect for a couple who wants to have nothing but rest and relaxation. Steps from the beach where there are cabanas on a first come first serve basis. Extremely clean property and well kept. All employees were very respectful and had been there for many years. Something important to know is that they have a handicap ramp on the side of the parking lot to help those that are not crazy about steps. This is a 2 story building, so be sure and request the first floor if you are not able to climb stops. I absolutely loved my time here.

My parents were original owners at BOO until early 2000. I returned in August for the first time since late 90's. Still a wonderful spot and it is a hidden gem. They do not make them like that anymore. That said there is room for some improvement. The building is aging, outside for example is faded and patchy looking. The stove in Unit 16 I think is the original one from when I was a child. No lie. Parking needs to go back to assigned. Several evenings we returned from dinner to have no place to park. Some units have visitors but they should be parking elsewhere and not taking spots from guests. The pool was disgustingly hot due to the warm weather. They need to freshen it up periodically. Still a great spot and we will be back but really does need some upgrades.

Berkshire On the Ocean is a great place. On the Ocean, very clean and convenient. The staff is first rate and the units are neat and clean. The grounds are neat and well maintained. The grills are excellent and the pool area is spotless. There are cabanas on the beach and the beach is super. Very comfortable.

We love this kind of place. Small, laid back and walk right out to the beach... or hang out at the pool (which was great). There are only 23 units so it's not over crowded. Unit was clean, roomy and comfortable and everything worked... TVs, AC, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful, as were the other guests.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, a retreat from stress, this is your place. It's a quiet, peaceful, quaint, and beautiful little spot. We loved it! The staff was excellent too......I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
